Can't you just pay for a sub and then cancel it before the end of the month? Then you get your free 30 days.

He said he usually uses time codes. Some people don't like associating their credit card info on any website, and that's perfectly understandable. He shouldn't be forced to to access game time the PURCHASED GAME entitles us to.

wow I take it most of you havent played MMO's before?? Even 10 years ago you needed a credit (or Debit) card to activate the 30 days free subscription! Also bare in mind that you were also giving the option to pay via Paypal too so you were not required to enter your card details on the website.

You mean "contact Support and they'll get around to you when they finally *** get around to you, feel free to wait 8-24 hours in the meantime". Nice response, fanboy.
I love Elder Scrolls, but I've seen many MMOs avoid this kind of grace period/subscription-requirement fiasco.

Yeah, with so many of you troglodytes whining to CS about having to give your credit card info to get free access (something almost every sub-based game has done since forever), it's bound to take a while to get a response.
Not like you really deserve one anyway.

And why exactly? Is it a measure of security? Are you so paranoid that you believe ZOS to be a bunch of Nigerian princes out to steal your identity and clean out your bank account?Justice_OC wrote: »Sorcerious wrote: »Contact Support they can help you.

Hyperventilate wrote: »From what I'm understanding, you aren't actually getting charged. It's the semi-standard authorization transaction that nearly every company that requires a sub does. The difference is, Zenimax is doing the auth charge of 15 dollars, not the standard dollar or few cents. You're not actually buying anything, they're just making sure you've got a valid payment plan (Before the time cards.)
If you want timecards, why not get a pre-paid visa or mastercard at nearly any grocery store? Then you're covered til' you can get your time cards, and if you decide you don't want to play, you've got a usable-everywhere prepaid card with fifteen bucks on it.
It must be a sad life, living in such fear from day to day.Justice_OC wrote: »Hey, genius, they wouldn't be the first to get hacked. Some folks are even *gasp* in the business of being secure for a living. There are many reasons to not leave an identity trail, some of them even legit. If you weren't too busy being an ignorant troll you might contemplate that.
Doesn't change the main problem here- Zenimax needs to extend early access to the people who already qualified for it... it's too easy, and only makes sense with the sheer amount of problems caused by ending access before most people have received their copies in the mail.
BTW watch out bro. People already have your account handle, that's just one step closer to brute-forcing your password and hacking your account. Stay safe.
