First I wanted to start by saying simply, if you have something wrong with my post don't waste space on this topic by posting some rant or rave or tantrum about whatever it is you think wrong. There are way too many posts as is that aren't helpful or constructive.
Now for my point. I know having worked in both customer service and in a dealership service bay now, that it is not only difficult but physically impossible to please and make every single customer in the world happy. Its just not possible due to so many reasons whether people choose to deny or admit them. So I understand entirely how hard it must be for all of you at Zenimax to work this hard and this much to get the game made, and fix issues before and now that have arisen. I know that a simple thank you can go such a long way to anyone working their butts off at their job, that it can make or break a day...positive reinforcement always makes people want to try their best...not bashing people. So from my heart I want to say thank you so much to ZoS for this amazing game you have made. I have personally never been this excited to play a game, morning, afternoon, or night I want to log on. I enjoy every aspect of the game from exploring like a TES game, to grinding (which hasn't been a viable leveling system in AAA MMOs for awhile as far as I've played so thank you), to the epic scale of PvP battles. Even simple things like helping a caravan out that's being attacked by thieves or the little emotes you see when someone is searching through their backpack or looking at a map. Simple things can be so o erlooked and it is clear you all at Zenimax have really put heart and soul into the game.
So thank you again for all the amazing attributes the game has to offer.
As far as the bugs and problems go, first every single man made object, system, hardware, whatever it is will ALWAYS have defects...why do you think we use machines for so many things nowadays? It takes most human error out of the equation. To expect 100% perfect is just being naive.
Now yes there are some serious issues here and there which I am sure was not intentionally done, because simply put, no big name corporation would ever purposely try to sell a product that is defective. Imagine the lawsuits a car company would have if the purposely launched a car that couldn't brake?
The way to fix problems is by being helpful and using constructive criticism. We need to remember there are actual people working at Zenimax who have feelings to. How would you feel if you spent so much time and hard work making this game or something else only to have everyone only point out negative aspects of the product and never mention anything nice to you? I bet 99% of the people here would feel hurt for not being appreciated for at least what they did RIGHT. Another thing to remember is when you are nice to others they are so much more willing to help you. The meaner and nastier you are the less inclined to help you they are. Try going to a restaurant and be a complete jerk to your waiter/waitress and all around nasty and you better pray to every god known to mankind they don't do something bad to your food. Friendliness and helpfulness go a long way.
So anyways, after this long post I just wanted to reinforce and HUGE thank you to Zenimax for all your hard work and dedication and hours of fun you've given me and all of us. And for everyone to remember, if you want to get help or get something fixed...be constructive and nice about it. Think about if you were in their how's, t all goes back to the "golden rule" we all learned in kindergarten...treat others the way you want to be treated.
