which ones? not ff14, not TERA (before it went to f2p), same with RIFT, Secret World, Warhammer Online, not even WoW. Not Lineage nor Everquest. No Aion. I played all this games from the start and none of them required to use full value to set up subscription. Some (Aion only afair) required to provide CC and allocated 1 cent. Simple as that.
It is not a common practice and it is very amateurish.
And what if I don't want to pay by CC? I want to buy game time cards at my retailer, so I can't register my code at all?
