Also, can i add payment info and then take it off right away(no longer in the system, won't get recurring billed after the free 30 days)?

When you set up your payment info as part of the registration process, an authorisation charge is made to verify your credit card/paypal/whatever, depending on the type of card, this can take anywhere from a day to a week or so before the verification process is finalised.
So cancelling before that point might also cancel your ability to play.0 -

BTOG46✭✭The 30 days starts as soon as you register the game, I don't think the pre-order codes expire, they're simply bonus digital content.
If you don't mind not being able to play till then, you should be ok waiting till the 20th to register the game.
As for when it's safe to cancel, I can't really help you with that.0 -
