Monster Sets - wants

Trying to pull my head out of the gutter and post something positive.,

What are some monster sets you think would be a nice to have or even “needed”?

I’d like to see something along the lines of,

- Dealing critical damage grants you major expedition for 5 seconds.

- Dodging cleanses one effect.

- Grants Major Brutality/Sorcery +XXXWD/SD

- Stunning an enemy grants Major Berserk

- Critical Melee Strikes puts XXX Bleed damage over 6 seconds, 3 second cooldown. (Need more bleed builds)

    Would be cool to see any new Frost Damage sets, along with one that summons melee Skeleton minions to fight with you, maybe rework Nerieneth to be more Necromancer themed?

    The lich crystal is actually very necromancer themed.

    But yes, a monster set summoning skeletal minions or ghosts would be dope for a new set.
    Or maybe just a dwemer themed monster set for DDs. Just....just once. Pretty please, all summoned dwemer constructs are for support roles.

    I would love to see a few new Synergies added to the game. Monster sets might not be the best place to add it, but it's fun to think about.

    I would also love to see Monster sets added to the IA. You could make 1-2 for each class. (Lots of fun to have here)

    I have long wanted some basic variety sets. There are quite a few monster sets that just have themes or damage types that I find not so great. A good compromise could be a "crafted/scribed" monster set, with a somewhat flexible 1-piece and a slightly customizable 2-piece bonus. Doesn't have to be opulent.

    Change Slimecraw's minor berserk for minor slayer. Wouldn't make the set op, but it would at least provide something unique for a monster set and could be useful again. Minor Berserk is far too easy to get for the 2 piece to be worth using.

    1pc: Maximum health

    2pc: Upon activating an ability with a cost, grants a damage shield X value to you and all of your group members for 6 seconds. When a damage shield breaks, the affected target gains X healing over 6 seconds. This effect can occur once every 2 seconds.

    The values of the damage shield and healing scales depending on the amount of players in your group. For one group member, the value is divided by 1 then multiplied by 1.22222. For two additional group members the value is divided by 1 then multiplied by 1.35555. For three additional group members the value is divided by 1 then multiplied by 1.5. For four additional group members the value is divided by 1 then multiplied by 2.

    When healed by this set, you gain a surge of renowned invigoration, increasing magicka and stamina recovery by X value that is multiplicative by the initial value of the shield by 25% for 6 seconds. After 6 seconds your weapon and spell damage is increased by 10%. The percentage is multiplied by 2% of the initial damage shield value. You also gain minor intellect and minor endurance for 6 seconds.

    The value of the damage shield scales off of your maximum health. The final damage shield is capped at 75% of the target's maximum health.

    I would be fine with just resetting all monster sets to what they were before mythics. While PVP did change some sets like Zaan, Iceheart, and Thurkovun, mythics is what ruined the majority of monster sets.

    Good to see you around again El_Borracho! I agree with you on this. The monster set effects were always so much fun and interesting to see. Id rather see more of that than mythics

    I know what a Lich is, and that Necromancy in ESO is a convoluted mess compared to previous titles… that said, it’s incredibly odd that we don’t have any sets in the game that “summon the dead” especially considering we have an entire class based around that concept.

    Thanks dude. I'm in and out. Like the addition of Night Market and the plan to revamp classes. Seems like the game is back on the upswing

    Have you tried Nunatak yet? I'm not on par with the current stance of frost warden but mine dealed some nice damage with the help of Nunatak, frostbite and whorl of depths last year.

    I think Glittering Goad is pretty good. It's easier to control the timing of its trigger compared to Iceheart, and it's a sticky DoT, so it requires less positioning than Iceheart. It can even be triggered by heavy attacks from ranged weapons.
