Server Channel

Does anyone know, how many Channels the Megaserver has? And how can you switch to a specific one?

I'm sure you know the problem; you wan't to play with a friend, tell each other where to meet or fast travel to each other, but when you arrive, the friend, which is in the same group as you are, is invisible and all you can see is a white arrow above his invisible head, because he is in another channel.
What follows is an annoying process of relogging and/or travel around, make loadscreens happen, hoping that you eventually get put in the same channel as your buddy is in.

Anybody knows, how to get this process straight ahead? I mean, can you swap channels manually? Or do you have to trust the automatism?

Weiß jemand, wie man diesen Vorgang handfester angehen kann?
Kann man da manuell etwas machen oder muss man auf die Automatismen vertrauen?

First off, never trust 'automatism' . Didn't you ever watch 'War Games' , 'Terminator 2' .... 'Superman 3' lol jk

Secondly, MOST of the time, the main reason you & your friend end up in different *phases* (not necessarily "channels" ) is because you are both out-of-sync with eachother's current [related] QUESTS (or subsequent environmentally altered Areas) .

Either way, you can always chat with a group member by using /group

And of course there's always direct-to-player chat by using /whisper

If you go to your group screen, you can right click on their name and select travel to player. You'll teleport to the nearest way shrine to them on the same phase.
