Your customer support is actually in a very bad state right now. They don't reply,
when they do its a very generic answer.
Billing your killing a large portion of your player base with you existing policies
Account set up should not require that you bill the cc or buy a game card.
I run a small company that specialty is soil treatment for farming and ranching.
I have a lot of customers on file and my credit card servicer does not bill them
until I arrive on site and perform the service, they don't bill when I going out to give them a quote on the service that I am going to perform not till the day service are completed.
In the same way you have offered 30 days of game time with setting up an account
you have not started the pay portion of this deal yet. The excuse of service provider tells me that something is wrong with that provider.
I pay for the service of my provider, they work for me and don't dictate policy for my company.
You customer service at bet is marginal if I treated my customers like this this I would not have a business.
I am going to make a suggestion at this point read it please pass it on to the powers above.
1. Tell your service provider if they don't stop billing full amount of cost of game
there is plenty more out there. (1 dollar fee to validate card is good for most from what I have read)
2. Start replying in the forums to all the questions, if the customer service does not have an answer its ok let them say that but make sure they have a reply with in
a few hours instead of 8-10, 1 day or 2-3 days.
3. Keep customer support 24 hrs a day online till things get really smoothed out.
ESO's player base is dropping really quick right now and simple steps could stop a lot of these problems and Make the player fan base extremely happy.
A happy customer is a repeat customer......
