Cursor - Anyone Else Having Issues Tonight?

So out of the blue, when I opened the launched this evening it downloaded a weird very quick update. The launcher didn't even get to the usual screen before downloading. It looked like it updated before the launcher went to its "home screen".

Anyways, tonight I noticed that in-game when I enter the UI (and rightfully goes into cursor mode) everything is fine. When I exit the UI (i.e. inventory) it stays in cursor mode. It no longer quickly switches back to the crosshairs. it stays in cursor mode for the mouse and the way I break out of it is by moving the character using WASD. Anyone else experience this?

Side question: Anyone get the small unannounced game update this afternoon or night?

Nope.
I had a small update this morning but I've no issues.

(Of course, morning noon and night - depends on where you are)

Are you using any inventory or UI addons?
This might be the cause if you are.

Happened to me once or twice as well. If it happens just reload your UI and you should be fine again.

Ive been having this problem many times, usually when im riding my horse than open the map and then close the map.

I have seen it but like you, I tap a WASD. The WASD fix has become so automatic that I had to think for a moment upon reading your post whether I had seen it or not.

Issue seems to have resolved itself after logging in and playing today,

This issue happens intermittently for me also.

Restarting the game client appears to be a temporary fix, but I hardly see it appropriate for a long term solution.

Hopefully the ESO team can see a fix applied shortly.
