Phasing makes everything invisible

At least, i think that's the problem.
Every time i play the game, every living thing will suddenly become invisible. Players, NPCs and enemies alike.
Quest arrows will still appear at the NPCs location but the NPC itself is invisible, i keep bumping into invisible players and enemies keep killing me because i can't fight what i can't see.
I don't know if this is a phasing problem, but i have had moments where i would see a player on a horse pop up for two seconds just to go invisible again.
Does anyone know a permanent fix for this? The /reloadui option fixes it for about 30 seconds before everything goes invisible again. I'm getting kinda annoyed at having to copypaste the command every time i encounter a new enemy. Logging out and back in and restarting the entire game client don't work either.
