Content Write Failed! Redownloading Game Necessary?

Re-downloading the entire game! I just went over my ISP bandwidth quota, and now I have to re-download 20 some gigs? Is this really necessary to go from early access to live?

The same exact thing keeps happening to me when my download reaches 9GB left to download. When that happens it slowly creeps back up to 22GB left and 0% and I have to close the launcher to restart. I've done everything the support team suggested and now they are getting a specialist teamRe-downloading the entire game! They're sure taking a long time to get back to me x.x gosh this really sucks to be honest. If I get it fixed I'll tell you how (If you haven't already).

LilahOzakSoul ShrivenAlright,my instructions were to delete EVERYTHING related to ESO and then re install everything. That didn't even help. So hopefully they can.. fix this issue.0

kingaramSoul Shriveneverytime I pause and restart the download, the amount to be downloaded increases and the percent downloaded decreases. "content write fail" is displayed where the remaining download is shown. for example it was at 19% with 3000mb left, after pausing the download and starting it back up the client showed 16% completion and 6000mb download remaining
edit: after pausing/starting the download multiple times, the client displayed 0% completion and essentially started the download itself.Edited by kingaram on April 14, 2014 5:34AM0
