Subclassing. Can we pick a few Abilities or forced to take the whole line?

I thought we could swap up to 2 abilities kind of like when we pick morphs. Or are we forced to take on the whole entire skill line? That is a bummer if I have to lose an entire Ability skill line. I thought we would be able to swap like Top ability for Top Ability as an example. Or 3rd one down replaces 3rd one down. Kinda of a bummer...

Yeah, I was thinking this too. But I don't think ZOS will let this happen.

You have to swap out one entire skill line and swap in a replacement entire skill line. So the tradeoffs are definitely something to carefully consider.

Entire Line is swapped.

Its a issue for me as many of my builds are remarkably unique because of the current system. Like how my Necro, Sorc, DK tank so differantly from each other by using differant abilities.. my necro handles group add pulls with his scary totem.. My sorcs front bar has 1 ability from each class tree and they all synergize naturally, they are not easily replaced.

Yeah, it would be a great challenge to manage balancing if we could swap out skills. Also, passives often play an important role in one manner or another.

And who knows how Sorc will end up looking with Daedric Summoning being reworked into a pets-only skill line.

disappointing... Now i am going to rethink this. Thank You I will Probably have to go with a 1-line swap then. I have some ideas but this def makes it more difficult. I thought you could just swap 2 abilities total and cherry pick what you wanted to change.
