Can we Have Motifs Added to the Lore Library Account-Wide?

I have one main crafter who is the one I have learn all motifs. It would be nice to be on an alternate character and look in the Lore Library if that main character knows the motif I just acquired. It would be extra-nice if that motif was another color to show the main/another character knows it, but the alt does not. Then I could instantly sell or trade that motif without having to amass a bunch of motifs in the bank, log out, then log onto the main to do what I could have done if this was possible. Its almost as if this is what the LORE LIBRARY should keep track of...

This is already done on account-wide achievements. I just want to copy that. I'm sure there is an add-on for PC, but not for us lowly console peasants. Please, can you make this happen?

Does the console add-on API not allow this? I’m curious and not familiar with the restrictions compared to PC add-ons.

I am unaware of any add-ons available for PS5 (what I play on)

It’s my understanding that add-ons for consoles is a thing coming in the future, not anything that is live now.

if your using the motif for outfits, then its already account wide

if your trying to get motif knowledge for say writs, crafting, or collection purposes then addons might be able to help with that but i dont think console has addons enabled yet to take advantage of this

An add-on framework to help authors prepare hit the PTS in January and was listed in the live U45 patch notes for next-gen consoles. That’s why I asked about the API.

If the relevant add-ons will be able to be used on console, which is a thing we may be able to determine now given the console add-on tools that are live, then it’s a matter of waiting on that rather than waiting on ZOS to make this a native game function. Per ZOS’s timeline, add-ons should be available on console by the end of this year. It may well take them longer than that to go through the process of implementing this one functionality into the base game - and it would certainly be redundant when they know add-ons are imminent, unless this is a case where the functionality will not be usable on console due to the restrictions they are implementing there compared to PC. There is still a case for asking for those QoL items where they will not be available via add-ons on console. But for ones that will be, that’s why the framework has been implemented.
