An UI issue with ToT intro quest?

I finally decided to give ToT a fair shake. I got the quest but when I sit down with the tutorial guy, all the cards are blank. Also sometimes a UI error box pops up. I'm on PS5 just to be detailed. I tried to play a regular match as that's an option but same issue. Close game, dropped quest etc. Same issue. I googled it but didn't seem to see this same issue. Anyone see this or have something I could try?

Have you tried exiting completely out of the game and restarting? You said "close game," but I'm not sure whether you meant exiting the game completely or just exiting back to the character selection screen. This helps on PC, although I haven't tried it yet on a character who's never done the tutorial. I'll try it later on PC to see what happens.

I did close the game completely, though I didn't drop quest and close the game all in the same go. I dropped quest and went through it again to the same thing, no UI error box though. I closed game totally and tried him again to the UI error. I reloaded the UI as there was an option in the error box. This did not help either.

There was a Tribute UI error on PC release that was in the known issues. That one may have made it through to console.

Best is to bug report it so the team knows.

Thanks bud, I'm gonna do that. I was just thinking about it on my lunch break and thought I'd run it by the community. Was thinking maybe someone had seen this and had a work around. We shall see, though it's not that life altering.

I just went through the tutorial on PC on one of my alts and had no trouble.

One thing, I looked at my Colkections before starting the tutorial and noticed that the four default patrons, plus the two I've collected on my main, were showing up. Apparently the bug is triggered when none of the already-collected patrons are there. I'm not sure what the Collections should look like if none of your characters have collected any of the patrons yet, but you might want to look at your Collections before starting the tutorial to see if any patrons are showing up.
