Error 201

Before this grand opening downtime of 4+ hours or how it was, my game have run without any major issues. But now, I cannot log in at all since the servers got back up. Been sitting here the past 1 and a half hour waiting, trying to log in, waiting again. All thanks to error 201. As for my connection...I am online, with a friend on Skype at the moment actually. So...is this just a general day one zerg overload on the server in general, did something on my account break, am I alone in this or are others having the same issue?

I was able to find the root cause for this issue, in my case it was the antivirus(commodo) behavioral blocking feature stopping the eso.exe from making the necessary modifications in the system registry. Simply turning off the antivirus DOES NOT work as suggested in the official solution post, you have to introduce a new rule to bypass the eso.exe(better the whole eso folder) from being monitored by the AV + add an exception in the firewall. Hope this helps.

I have comodo, I simply added the eso launcher (from running processes) to trusted and it worked.
