Cyrodiil more laggy after maintenance

Im really curious, how can it be that Cyrodiil is more laggy after the maintenance today?

It was actually surprisingly good during the event. Of course when many players got together it could've gotten laggy and you defo got frame drops, but overall it wasn't that bad.

But today it really felt more sluggish. How can it be?

I'm mainly talking about Xbox EU here.

Going to go crazy conspiracy theory here, but my guess would be they dedicate more servers when there is a PVP event to PVP content to handle the increase in players. But once the event ends, and the maintenance takes place, those servers go back to support PVE. Except the PVP population doesn't immediately drop down to previous levels.

the whole game is kind of running like dookie. I tried to pug one random dungeon and disconnected on the first boss. I reset my router just in case and came back and was able to finish it. I am still getting 100-300 ms when I normally get 60-80. Lag auto looting with a delay and stuff. I blame the tariffs, I think the world is telling us how they feel. >:) Thankfully I have a few decent solo games to pick back up on. Kevin mentioned bad actors again, I assume more DDoS attacks. The mitigation doesn't seem to be helping that much, but I guess the servers haven't totally crashed again.
