What's your stance on faction loyalty?

When you say you're "faction loyal" in regards to roleplay and PvP in ESO, do you mean you, the player, are faction loyal, or do you mean that your characters are faction loyal?

Each of my characters are loyal to their respective faction.

It's very rare that I am in Cyrodiil at all. A few times of year only, most of which is just getting tickets for MYM. So, when I hop into PvP, I just try my best on whatever character I happen to be on.

I worked to get rid of DC and AD achievements while learning cyro. Now I dont plan to play them any longer. All my two toons are EP. In the possibility of a new class I can consider a third, which will be EP. But I'm not one of those "For the Pact!!" people lol

I've purchased way too many Alliance Change tokens in the past. Whatever faction my characters are currently on is where they will stay permanently.

I only play DC, even though only 1 of my 4 toons is a "real" PvP character (Warden Healer). I just pick DC for my others in case I am desperate for Transmutes and need to make a Frankenstein PvP build

Funnily enough, I've made a lot of friends on the other two Alliances through Cyro

I have one to two alts that are on DC or AD in case of team green on every campaign in events. Other than that most of my characters are Dunmer or Argonian and on EP. IMO they should add another faction lock campaign during MYM.

If I was in a PvP guild it would matter but right now I have a character in each to hop onto easy servers for Midyear quests and don't particularly care about my alliance

I have characters in every faction and play them in those factions when I have to go into Cyrodiil or IC. Loyalty however is something I do not have. I don't really care about it.

I didn't intend to be exclusively AD on PC/NA, but it worked out that way because I always felt it was the faction that needs the most help and still feel that way.

I, the player, am loyal to one faction. My characters in roleplay form mostly don't have a faction, but I also wouldn't alliance swap them because they wouldn't make any sense swapped (I do not have any race, any alliance).

I really have only played DC in large amounts, in terms of Cyrodiil or IC, but I've dabbled in the other factions.

Nice people and cheerful company were present in any, with the same complaints about other Factions being 100% zerg cretins and scumbags voiced in all /zone chats, and plentiful complaints about ''our faction never listens/thinks/etc'' being just as prevalent.

Universal hatred of Ball Groups is there too (and warranted, imo.)

I may be switching to EP for Guild reasons soon and I'll kinda miss some of my DC buddies, but by and large I don't think any Faction really has a leg up on the others. ESO PvPers are pretty great all around, and there's no shortage of enthusiasm OR ranting.

I am loyal to my character's faction WHEN I am in a PvP campaign full stop, bear true faith and allegiance to, will play the map to win, and will not undermine it even for a friend if they are on the other side.

Most of my toons are EP anyway, but I have several from before One Tamriel I made to play with other people when that was the only way. If faction change were free, I would use it. But it's just not that important when faction identity seems pretty ethereal to me.

If the enemy faction is gated the most I am going to do is finish my daily quests and dip or get an alt the skyshards behind their scrollgates. Having fun in the game, so that the game keeps going, is more important than gloatstomping them like some "Vae victic! For muh color!" stance to me.

Except for the fact that I have one character in each of the other factions for potential achievement purposes. And while I stick to this, basically I never play them and often consider just letting it go and switching those two characters to EP as well.

Personally, I'm partial to the Aldmeri Dominion, if only because I like their zones/questlines better and think their cities are more conveniently designed (almost every fire is a cooking fire! I don't have to run all the way across the sprawling city to get to the only cooking fire!). I think Queen Ayrenn is super cool.

The Covenant is ok. The cities can be a nightmare to navigate, though. The quest is... fine. Emeric is fine. Of all the kings throughout Tamriel history, Emeric is one of them.

I really dislike the Pact. The questline is annoying and poorly written/inconsistent in places. (Edit: For example, the whole deal with Thallik Wormfather is just weird. He's the guy Molag Bal has picked for his, and the Pact dude who shows up in the torture-game in Coldharbor. But we first hear his name more than halfway through the very last zone's story, and we kill him in the very next quest after that.) Stonefalls is such an ugly zone that depresses me every time I have to do something in it. And everything about Jorunn, from his attitude to his voice acting, is just awful.

With all that said, I have characters in each alliance, and one of each is geared (to a greater or lesser degree) for PvP. The characters probably really like their respective alliances. I guess.

Faction loyal in that of the two PVE characters that have done PVP, they are on separate accounts. One account is EP, the other DC. It just happened to be the alliances that they were. I don't have a home campaign for either of them. I pick whichever one has the higher pop for their alliance. I do try to avoid entering the same campaign on the same day. It is a little harder to do that with IC than Cyrodiil, however. I typically only do PVP during events or if there is an endeavor / pursuit that can be done. So any "contamination" by me having accidentally picked the same server on the same day is kept to a minimum.

Should I max out achievements that they could get and I see that there are achievements for the other factions, I might "retire" the current and go in with one from a different faction. But that is still a long time from now.

All my PvP toons are DC on Gray Host. I get Caltrops on my other alliance toons on a campaign that is not faction locked.

It often takes queuing for a PVP zone, for me to even remember, what alliance most of my characters are in.

I have bunch of toons on every alliance, so don't really care. I have slight bias towards DC though, as my first character is Redguard and I like DC zone questlines the most.

Some, but not all, my characters are loyal to their faction. Reasons vary, some have delierately chosen a side in the war, some were just born there and never thought much about it, some chose a place to live but don't fight in Cyrodiil.

My priority has always been to play as much of the game as I could. I knew going in the 3 Banners War is ultimately pointless and I've never been one to get attached to factions in a video game.

I made one alt AD and one EP in the event that I could play with a now long-defunct guild, but the other 7 are all DC.
