Confusion over 30Days: Digital Ver. Codes

Okay, a friend of mine has thoroughly confused me about what's going on with the extended grace period, and I am posting this to get an official response from Zenimax to clear things up.

I pre-ordered the Standard Digital Edition through the Zenimax Store, and I was under the impression that I had nothing else to do and that all the proper information was entered in, and that I wouldn't need to do anything subscription-wise until the end of the 30-days included with my pre-order.

My friend, on the other hand, pre-ordered Digitally from another store, and has not gotten a code yet to enter, and thinks that *EVERYONE* must enter a code in by the time the Grace Period ends or else we won't be able to continue.

My confusion is this: Do I, who pre-ordered Digitally through the official store, *NEED* a new code to enter into my account on Sunday inorder to continue playing ESO, or am I already taken care of by nature of the pre-order as I was initially told. If so, I do NOT have a new code, and was never given one.

Is my friend's assumption incorrect in that Sunday's deadline is required for *EVERYONE* who Pre-ordered, regardless of version, or does it only apply to those who Pre-ordered the Physical editions or the Digital through another Store?

Please, someone explain exactly WHAT it is we must do come Sunday to keep playing?

Bumping this, was going to make a thread of my own but you've covered most of my concerns here. My main question was this:

When I pre-purchased from this official website, all it said was that I would get a free 30 day subscription, I don't recall it mentioning that I'd have to subscribe in order to get my free month. (I may not be able to subscribe until much later in the month.)

If you do not enter the code before the early start ends, you wont be able to log in. Once you enter your code you get, you will be able to start to play and use get your bonus. Explorer pack is only for people who pre-ordered, if you had access to the game, then you are fine.
I just got my code from GMG today.

After reading all the influx of issues people are having with their code registering, PLEASE, can I get an official response from Zenimax on this?

    @ZOS_GinaBruno Can I get a response, please?

Also, I have a question regarding payment methods. Will ESO have pre-paid cards that I can use to buy game time on? I really would rather not use a credit card to pay for the game.

I think this is how it works, but I am not 100% certain:

Everyone who pre-ordered gets Early Access, and ZOS has extended the "grace period" for Early Access until April 6th, 8 a.m. EDT (see the System Message when starting the launcher). People who ordered physical edition or digital edition from a retailer other than ZOS must enter a "game code" before that time is up (and maybe also an "Explorer's Pack" code) to continue playing; people who pre-ordered directly from ZOS do not have to input this additional code. Everyone (regardless of where they purchased) must choose a subscription model payment from ZOS in order to keep playing.

My main question is, do we have until April 6th to choose the sub, or must that be done today?

Got an email from Support :)
If you purchased a Digital Edition from our official store, you won't need a second code. You only need a second code if you purchased the game from a 3rd party and received Early Access.

In both cases, you will need to choose a subscription plan starting on Sunday, April 6, which you'll be able to do from the accounts website (https://account.elderscrollsonline.com).

As far as the game time cards, they will be available at all participating retailers worldwide. We don't currently have a list of those retailers, but you can check with your local retailer to learn more. :)

I hope that helps! Please let me know if there's anything else I can do for you!
