Madickasteal Affix Script not dropping.

The Madickasteal Affix Script is not dropping for my current character. She has all the other Scripts but not this one. I have done Bolgruc's undaunted delve daily about half a dozen times and their is no sign of it. In fact no scripts are dropping at all from Bolgruc, even though this is the last one I need, not even doubles. It is not dropping any Scripts at all. I am getting doubles from the Fighters Guild and Mages Guild as I have all those scripts collected. The character is an Orc Dragonknight as matter of record. I have about half a dozen other characters that have the full set of Scripts. Those scripts have been obtained through the Guild dailies and the free ones from doing the Scribing Quest line. This a new problem for me.

Thanks, but no thanks. I will go into the IC with my sneaky Khajiit to do sneaky things in the wee hours. I have no intention of going there as a meat target where I am on a hiding to nothing. At 79 I know my limits and I still have some pride left. It is some sort of recent bug that is affecting my character. I have tried disabling my only Scribing addon, but to no effect.

The only PVP I do is Ranked Battles in World of Warships, which is a bit more my pace.

These types of scripts generally drop from:
World Event quests
Daily Imperial City quests
Daily Undaunted quests
The Scholarium Merchant, Chronicler Firandil
Infinite Archive Vendor: Ool

Undaunted daily delve quests are pretty simple and you can have multiple shared a day. World events aren't as easy but can be shared too, If I'm not mistaken that would be the dailies to do Mirrormoor incursions, harrowstorms, vents.

The IC arena quest doesn't require you to drop down and be a target. You can complete it from the platform. Do it once on a day you haven't completed the other affix sources and it should be curated and give you directly.

most of the time there is no one around anyway, unless it is prime time. Just deposit all your telvar, the most they will get is like 50-100 But PVE dailies are viable too, I think IC is on its own cooldown timer though.

On thinking, it is strange that this character has three crafted skills on my one bar build. Could there be a connection, just a thought. Basically it is the only character I have with a crafted skill bar. The other two skills being standard 2H weapon skills. I think next time I will strip it down to a basic build in the armoury and see what happens when I open the reward container.

also as soon as you make some telvar, crouch and join a Cyro campaign to pull you out of IC. then go back to IC campaign and bank them.

Don't run back to base like I did. Gankers are always waiting.

The scripts are curated by character.

Are you eating the other Scripts on this character? If not, those are still in the loot pool so you’re just fighting against more RNG. Once a character eats a certain Script, it won’t drop anymore until all of the Scripts of that type are done.

This also means that if you have two characters, it’s not a good idea to use character A who has all the Scripts eaten to farm for a specific Script for character B. Use character B to farm their own Scripts, and you’ll eventually get what you need.

Or just use https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info3664-TelVarSaver.html and set to a low threshold if you want, or use a hot key like me.

I got it to work. Using the armoury I stripped my character to basic build, ie: basically down to nothing, skills and all. Then I went to collect my reward from Bolgruc and opened the container. The script was present and I added it to my character. It loaded no problem. Then via the armoury I re-equipped my character and checked that the scrip was still present. All was fine. Likely it having something to do with having multiple scripted skills. You may want to take note Kevin, may/may not be useful info.
