    I took a break, came back, and am now back on a break but check in here quite often to see if there any updates on the guild improvements that are coming. I love to play tank, a few runs of me having to do the books on first boss of vet scriveners hall was enough to put me back on break. Daily pledges were more frustration than fun due to speedrunners messing up the pulls. Didn't have any luck finding a guild who wanted to do vet dungeons. Hopefully there are more options after the changes to guild stuff happen.

    You looking around to loot sacks is bad dungeon etiquette.
    .

    To speed runners perhaps.

    There's a significantly large portion of the playerbase that finds it entirely acceptable. Those sacks, chests, containers, etc.. were put in the dungeon for a reason.
    Current dungeon etiquette is to have some speed buffs and move immediately and purposefully to the next fight.
    No. No it is not.

    @DenverRalphy

    You make my point for me. There is absolutely a slice of the players who are toxic. We will all meet them and it sucks. But to people who are going to do things like meander around looking through sacks, the entire player base will seem toxic.

    For example. About 90% of all my eso playing is pugging dungeons as a tank. So I know how crappy it is when players run ahead and won’t let me do my job. Consequently when I play DD, I am always courteous to the tank. Even the very bad and very slow. I wait for them to start the fight, and I try to let them lead and learn. When I play healer I prop them up with everything I’ve got and carry them through bosses try ought not have been capable of tanking. I aim to be the tank’s biggest fan.

    So I’m not one of those toxic players, but…

    When a tank starts waisting my time by exploring the environment for a minute or two between pulls, I AM NOT going to tolerate his behavior. I did not queue and wait 25-35 minutes as a DD to watch him look for crafting plans.

    At this point it is the TANK who isn’t giving a crap about anybody but himself. And I will go ahead and pull.

    To a selfish tank like that, what is normally a very courteous and supportive player (me) is going to appear toxic if he doesn’t see his own behavior as bad dungeon etiquette.

    That is why I posted what I did. The OP is not going to see the scope of the problem clearly until he himself is being considerate of his group.

    We have to meet each other half way. The solution can not be that one man’s speed offends you so he must stop it. But when your speed offends others, your slowness and sack looting agenda, everybody must endure it. Your view is so narcissistic you don’t even see the double standard.
