Was going to make a thread that ZOS should change all daily stuff to weekly, but I will just post this here. Missing a day for whatever reason feels bad, which shouldn't be the case. (personally I don't mind missing a day of ESO+)

-Daily endeavours should be removed, and the weekly endeavours should have those rewards added on top of it, while also offering some more wide-ranged weekly options.
-The daily login rewards should be changed to weekly rewards, so that we can claim all that week's 7 rewards all at once, any day of that week we log in, regardless of if it is the first or last day.
-Daily BG/daily dungeon rewards should all be changed to 7 completions per week rewards, regardless of if we do them all on one day or once every day.

Maintenance alone, and many other reallife reasons, have proven the daily stuff needs to be changed. And this should really be addressed by ZOS.

What I truly find baffling is why they don't make it so ESO+ holders can retro-actively claim missed login rewards...like *facepalm* on the missed 'another reason to give us money'.

...but EVE Online also didn't do this for their subscribers, when they were still doing a daily login reward. So I guess it's just not something they bother to even think of.

((Maybe Marketing should hire me...I seem to be better at making money than them [Marketing].))
You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else.

They want your login to be habit forming. That's why there's small daily tasks like writs and why your enlightened XP banks for a few days so you can keep the habit even on days you dont' have time to do more.

Daily rewards keep the little bits of dopamine coming.

(That said, Monster Hunter World banks daily rewards up to the last 5 or so which is also a nice solution to the "miss one and miss forever".)

HI all, we have one last update for folks regarding yesterday's downtime:

Hi everyone. We recognize that the unexpected extended maintenance downtime yesterday resulted in some players being unable to log into the game until the following day, and missing out on daily login rewards and some daily Seals of Endeavor.

To make up for this, we are doing the following on all servers:
    • We are adding the Crown Lesson: Riding Capacity (x3) reward to Day 8 of the Daily Login Rewards for March.
    • On March 3 and 4, all daily Endeavor activities will grant double the usual amount of Seals of Endeavor.
Thank you for your patience during yesterday's extended maintenance downtime.

We are going to go ahead and close this thread, as this is one of many on the topic. Please use the link above if you want to join in on any discussions.
