Sounds like your patcher is trying to redownload the whole game...

This apparently happens a lot, I'm gonna keep a copy of the folder on an external hdd or something >>

Only if you like the patching game... you heard it here first folks.... play the patching game and see how long you can last before you go insane

After each successful patch... the patch size gets bigger and bigger :D

If you don't like to wait on a certain patch stage... don't worry... with a easy 50 payments of tree fifty you can bypass a patch stage and move onto the next level

it's probably just running through the full download checking to see that everything is there and adding to it, because no way I could have downloaded that much data that fast.

We got a mod's response in this thread about it: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/67145/uhhh-it-s-asking-me-to-re-install-the-game/ :) We have to wait for a fix, though.

    I have fixed it!!!

1- In the launcher go to "Game Options" then "Settings" and select 'NEVER' in Auto Update.
2- Close the Launcher and launch it again
3- In the launcher go to "Game Options" and select Repair

It will Verify your full installation and then ... PLAY. Enjoy it.
