1. Ability to preview locked dyes.
2. Dyes purchased from the crown store should automatically be added into collection.

personally, I believe dyes should affect more than just costumes. I don't see many people wearing costumes, and if they do, it's usually with their own color coordination.

i would like to see dyes have the ability to also be applied to certain textures of polymorphs

ex: The Minotaur Polymorph, have a texture layout of 3 sections for each dye:
    - horns, nails, hooves and tail end tuff
    - leather armor chest sash, shoulder armor, and waist guard
    - -overall fur color

right now, it's all a different variant of browns, but let's say I want to put on the dye combo of the black, white, black (i forgot the actual name of the combo)

now with that combo, i can have Minotaur that has black-ish fur, darker leather armor, and white horns, hooves and tail tuff.

I think stretching the dyes to polymorphs would add a bit more to characters having unique appearances instead of seeing copies of the exact same polymorph everywhere when they're released, like the molag bal one or even the regular skeletons, they could have color variations too (i think it would be pretty funny seeing a highlighter green skeleton running around)

It would also save ZOS the possible need to recolor the same polymorphs for future use only to possibly get dragged in the mud by players for selling "reused" cosmetics like some PvP games do, taking old designs with just different colors but slapping a price tag on it. Not that they have yet as far as I'm aware, but just a thought.

+ be able to dye weapons (you can’t dye weapons themselves like you can armor, meaning they’re forever ugly red)

Weapons have always been able to be dyed. The dye slots are below that of the armor dye slots.

In outfits, yes. The actual weapons themselves you cannot dye, but you can dye armor. I have an outfit for screenshots made of real dropped items but I couldn't dye the weapons.

Technically, if you are dying something for fashion, 99% of the time it's on an outfit anyway as most people aren't using sets for their style, so it's generally a non-issue for the majority of players. Why would you need to dye a weapon if not for fashion, and why go sans-style if not being able to dye it is an issue for you? Just a thought.

there's a few unique weapons that do not have corresponding outfit styles like the Rootmender staff so i do understand it

In that case then yeah, I can understand that, but wouldn't it work just like unique outfit styles where dying is impossible anyway?

we can dye the artifact weapon styles that were added for this year's Jubilee so ideally Rootmender staff would also be dyeable if it had a style

I'm referring explicitly to undyable styles like Daedric artifacts and others you have no option to dye, in case that wasn't clear.

I don’t want to buy another outfit slot and buy dro-m’athra motifs when running MoL drops the items anyways. Its cheaper and I get the neat weapon effect. It’s a weird inconsistency that you can dye armor but not weapons. I dyed my first setup as well back when I was new because at the time I didn’t have the motifs as well.
