Login Server Behavior After Brief Internet Outages

I would like to lodge a formal complaint against ZoS.

For a long time there has been an issue that makes the game unplayable for me. As a long term paying customer, I think ZoS should take this complaint seriously and offer me a formal reply as to what they will do to fix the situation.

The issue is as follows:
When my internet has an intermittant outage that only lasts for a few seconds, I disconnect from the game, and cannot log in.
My internet is working fine after the brief outage, but I get an error from the client that the server cannot be found.
If I try to log in again, I get a booted from server error message.
I cannot log in again for 15 minutes or so, and if I try again before that I have to wait even longer.

This is unacceptable behavior of the login server.
ZoS should not be penalizing users that have occasional internet outages like me.
Many of my friends have the same issues, including our group leaders. They have given up playing the game in disgust when this happens to them.

ZoS should provide a formal reply as to what they will do to fix their login server.
I am considering ending my subscription because of this issue.

It's not ZoS's fault if a player has an unstable Internet connection. I'd recommend taking this problem up with the Internet provider that keeps having outages.

Everyone has occasional internet outages. The system should not penalize us.

It is very rare that I have an internet outage. I can only think of one time in the past year and that was because they took it down to make upgrades to their system.

I can log right back in if the client crashes, I should be able to do the same if my internet briefly goes out.

I don't have a a connection issue. The server won't let me log in right after a disconnect.

And I have submitted multiple tickets on this issue, but ZoS has not acknowledged it's an issue nor have they followed up.

I have recently somewhat simular issue. In due time, it was resolved by reinstalling client internal (SQL) databases (which seems to be corrupted somehow). Most easy way to do so is reinstalling client from scratch -- both user and ZOS parts.

I have multiple recent tickets, and the email responses from ZoS don't quote my original request, so I have no idea which ticket it is.

i am getting fed up, ESO is now considered unplayable, i did video card updates few times, sick of uninstall and reinstall and then updates that takes 20-30 hours, and played for few days and now again this patch today, i refuse to repeat same crappy 20-30 hours, i had lost few days of free dailies because of dumb techno requirements.
End of ESO is coming, 10 years strong? i call that pure Lie, pushing players to quit is Zenimax's business plan. repairing is a joke, and i search in my USER files, was surprised it went missing again in recent patch update
all i did recently, open launcher, and then screen load got froze and then black screen (intended for error report), then waiting and waiting until i =was forced to use Ctrl/alt/Del keys to reboot my PC several times.
if this happens and freeze up my PC and break, i would file lawsuit to repair or replace my PC.

I am tired of repairing, searching for fix, had this do something Nvidia cards? i keep getting screenload hiccups and often mobs are invisible. i cant defend or able to hit back, i just ran and then screen loader popped unexpected as if i was zone to zone traveling. it was fine for last 9 years until Necro saga causing some errors since.
I am considering closing ESO Plus due to poor gaming experiences. i wont support as long it running so badly and unplayable. i played other games and there was no problem and they were lot smoother than Zenimax. Shame on you Devs! not going to let you fool me twice!

It is incredible how players nowadays defend even login issues like ESO preventing players for 15 minutes to login after a disconnect when not even ZoS stated it is intended.
Had a disconnect in Infinity archive at replicanum and when I was allowed to login again IA had been resetted.
Players often cant change anything about their Internet connection and preventing them from logging in again is an unnecessary annoyance that should be removed.

I know of nothing that prevents players from logging in for 15 minutes after being disconnected.

OP said he cant login for 15 minutes after disconnect because he gets error message when he tries despite internet outage lasting only few seconds. Look in initial post. Same happens to me often after disconnect. When trying to login and getting error message despite Internet working again it is probably a server issue and ZoS fault.
    The issue is as follows:
When my internet has an intermittant outage that only lasts for a few seconds, I disconnect from the game, and cannot log in.

The OP is correct here. You can never control your ISP, and the fact of the matter is no matter which one you choose that tiny outages are regular. Most games run perfectly fine. In fact, ESO is the only game I think I have ever played where disconnects are extremely common and there's nothing to do to prevent them.
