Did the launcher update change video settings?

I'm not sure how else this would have happened but it seems like from when I updated the launcher my game has looked terrible. Text is fuzzy, textures look flat, and finer details I could once see are now not as visible. It looks like at least one of my video settings changed (anti-aliasing) but even after changing it back my game looks like it's set to the wrong resolution when it isn't. I'm not using any graphical add-ons so I'm not sure what else to check. All my other video settings are maxed, any ideas?

    Greetings,

    After further review we have decided to move this thread to a category we think is more appropriate for this topic, as it's about troubleshooting on the PC platform.

    Thank you for your understanding

    Before that update, did you do any changes to the High DPI compatibility in the launcher executble file? If so, go back to the original settings (box unchecked).

    Not knowingly, how would I check that?

    @aranarthov

    In Explorer or on the Start menu, right-click the ESO Launcher, select Properties, select the Compatibility tab, and then go to the Disable display scaling on high DPI settings check box.

    Thanks for this. The box was already unchecked unfortunately ruling that out I guess.
