Slow connection ONLY for ESO

I'm writing this because I'm having latency issues with the game as of last night. I have anywhere between a 1-5 second delay between pressing a hotkey and the skill activating depending on how bad the lag is at that particular time. I have tried downloading other things at the same time playing with lag and am downloading at my usual 7 mb/s. I can stream HD Youtube, Twitch on High and anything else for that matter with very fast buffering and no lag. Yet when I play ESO I STILL have massive delays with my skills and people are teleporting around in front of me.

What gives?

I had the same problem which started last night. I haven't been on today (at work), so not sure if it is fixed. Really hoping it is, though.

Lots of people are having this. Makes the game completely unplayable. Hope they get a fix fast

Horrible lag in combat, though rarely it seems to return to normal depending on which area/phase I am in. NPC dialogue is also delayed from activation.

Mine has been doing the same thing since the server came back up, it's unplayable. It was smooth before the maintenance, but now it's hesitating constantly.

Same here before this newest patch everything for me ran super smooth with no latency whatsoever. Now everything kind of stutters when exploring and questing, and if i go into a large town like Skywatch just walking around the lag is so bad its completely unplayable. Nothing has changed on my end. I've triple checked my network, drivers, GTX settings and anything else you can think of. Even dubbing down the graphics settings didn't change anything. =/

its not you friend. its ESO. I can usually patch a gig on other games in bout 20 min....its going to take about 5 hrs for 748mb at the rate ESO it's going, it drops all the way down to single digit Kbs lolol, so I would assume this is a similar issue as to why the connection in the game itself has trashed out for some of you guys.

lets give them the standard support team response: open ports blabla to blabla on your router, disable all firewalls, and if still experiencing issues please contact your internet service provider lolol

It started to lag again and I got dropped for the server for excessive messaging (spamming) but I wasn't spamming

Same here. Everything else runs fine. 50mp down 7mb up. Abilities have 1-5 sec delay. Getting unknown errors and the spamming one. Worked find until patch

I have the same issue. Quite annoying. Guess I'll wait to play for a while.

same here...been playing it perfect until last night...now latency is horrible, and audio will either lag or clip out entirely...makes it unplayable

Why are we not being responded too? Ive even filed a ticket and bug report...it sucks because I literally cant play due to this.
