I am seriously confused on why people are still crying over this? Are they new to MMO's? I've never seen a company compensate for downtime, and I don't think they ever will, unless the game is completely down for a really long time - like 2 weeks. Then yeah, that's half the time you paid for, and I could see a valid argument there, but not for a few hours and not during launch week.

They don't have the money for most of the the pre-orders yet..they won't have that till after release. Places like EB only make you put 5 dollars down until the box is in their hands. So 5 days early access plus a free sub month, and people complain at them fixing bugs, while others complain at bugs not fixed. So much facepalm.

Honestly, after sinking around 90$ for this game and looking to a subscription that's going to have to get paid soon after; my reflections on this have been very disappointing. Was kicked out last night because of maintenance that never ended. Was excited this morning as it's my last day off and still no go. To be perfectly honest this does suck. People paid their money and the expectations were to enjoy "early access" but you can't enjoy "early access" or any type of "access" at all if you can't log into the server. I'm sorry, I love Elder Scrolls as much as the next guy but they dropped the ball. Plain and simple. I honestly expected more from them than this. It's Fallen Earth all over again. I wonder how long before they go free to play?

I really do wonder how long it will be. I mean if a professional company like Bethesda and it's parent Zenimax can't even get a simple game to launch properly after all the revenue it should have been drawing, what in the hell was the Beta supposed to do? What were they honestly doing this whole time? I'm sorry but this is unacceptable in the very least. I can hear the F2P ringing in less than a year already if they maintain this disappointing level of performance. :disappointed:

Dude, most MMO launches are WORSE than this. That's just a sad fact of the nature of this type of game.

All Early Access customers will be granted an extended grace period until Sunday at 8AM EDT/12PM GMT before they are required to transition their account to live. This will cover online retail customers who didn’t get their boxes shipped in time and also give digital customers more Early Access time.
