[NEW MYTHIC] Torc of the Last Ayleid King useless?

TDVM

Reduce Damage Taken by 15%.
Adds 1337 Weapon and Spell Damage.
Adds 500 Magicka and Stamina Recovery.
Disable all other item set bonuses.

If not for disabling all bonuses from the sets, it would be useful at least somewhere, but because of it, it is simply useless in 99% of cases, especially in pvp.

Reduce Damage Taken by 15%.
Adds 668 Weapon and Spell Damage.
Adds 250Magicka and Stamina Recovery.
But without disabling all set bonuses.

Or if the essence of this mythical item is to disable bonuses from sets, then it should give something more useful than what it gives now. What do you think about this?

This set will be great in Ravenwatch No CP since it surpasses the set bonuses in the pool of usable sets.

Your suggestion is also insanely powerful and would bring imbalance.

I don't think it will be very useful in nocp, let alone cp, where this mythic would be useful if it didn't disable all set bonuses. And speaking of the imbalance in the game, there is already an imbalance with proc/dot builds. It is a pity that most likely it will not be useful in cp

I'm just going to use it to gimp myself, even just by a little bit, for overland questing. Easier then having a whole set of useless armour instead.

It keeps your armor, traits, and enchantments. It's use case is for people who are already using a mythic with a CP build and need a quick and easy way to go to no proc without having to change all their armor.
At least 3 of each class. PVPing Since IC.

15% damage reduction is more than any 5-piece bonus. 668 weapon/spell damage is more than any 5-piece bonus. 250 magicka/stamina recovery is more than any 5-piece bonus.

In what universe would piling that on top of existing sets not be wildly overpowered? I don't care if it CP or no-CP. The bonuses, even cut in half as you suggest, are huge. There has to be a downside. And the downside is no other set bonuses. You would basically be adding three 5-piece bonuses to every existing build. It would be a required item for every player. As all it would do is make your existing build, whatever it is, much more powerful.

I am looking forward to using this on my support toons when I'm too lazy to transfer gear. I can throw on random divines pieces and weapons and jump into random normal dungeons, or quests, or pvp

This isn't even correct though - Skinny Cheeks has a video demonstrating that Hundings Rage + Order's Wrath already surpasses this mythic (damage-wise). Both of which are available in no-proc. You can get similar sustain by adding Torc, and even more stats from 1 piece monster sets.

You can also just throw on this set if youre being lazy and want to jump into no cp for a bit and dont want to make new setups. Itll be fine, and probably mostly used for that.

Do you read yourself? You want a one piece bonus item with those effect? Doesn't seem broken to you?
I think this mythic is worth wearing it as it is

Where are you going to get all of that sustain, w/s damage and also the flat, impenetrable damage reduction in no proc cyro?

    Spoiler: you won’t.
