100k AP is frankly nothing. The equivalent of 10 first place BGs. I easily make that and more in an evening spent in Cyro with the guild. If you prefer to solo in Cyrodiil, that is your choice. You could also accrue 100k AP easily, if that was your intent.
I'm totally fine with a one-time 100k AP reward for all the folks who don't like PVPing. After all, I personally don't like slogging through vet DLC dungeons, and appreciate being able to get DLC monster helms in exchange for some AP via the Golden every so often... Don't see many PvE'ers insisting that us PVPers should have to slog through the vet DLC dungeons like they did.
It's just a nice little gift. ZOS should have more reward months like this.

100k AP take you very far on the journey to rank 6 in Alliance Skill Line. I believe rank 5 unlocks at 98k AP.
Even if a player never engaged in PvP before they are now only one rank away from getting Caltrops and Barrier.
That might be enough to get them to engage in PvP.
Which is a good thing ...

They also give out piles of gold on a single day. What I want next is a pile of Tel Var stones.

all I want to say, is I personally believe giving out 100,000 Alliance Points for a single day, is WAY too much.
