Vamp-unable to bite NPCs

Hello. For a few days, I've noticed that I cannot bite victims to kill them. I only have one vampire build (my thieving/murdering build). I need to use the corrupting bloody mara to get to RK4 (not sure if thrall works). It's annoying as I usually kill the NPCs I steal from this way.

Is anyone else having this problem? I heard someone complaining about it in zone chat, but I figured they were doing something wrong/were a new vampire. To make it clear, nothing has changed in that build. I used to kill several times a day with this, so it's not a lack of knowledge.

Are you on console or PC?

If on PC, have you added any new addons? Which ones have you updated recently?

If you’re on PC and have addons, disable them all and then see if you’re still having the issue.

I'm on PC. I'm using the same addons as before, but I will try disabling them to see. Thanks.

Thanks for reminding me about addons. It never entered my mind. I saw someone else in a zone saying they couldn't bite, so I went right to ''it's a bug''. Glad the issue is fixed as well. Thanks again!

We appreciate the update on this situation and that it was add-on related. With this issue resolved, we will be closing the thread going forward.
