Prices on gold Items at weekly vendor in Cyrodill needs adjust since jewelry change

Hadn't really thought about it but a guildy mentioned that there's no reason to pay 200 or 300k gold for golden jewelry items at the weekly vendor in Cyrodill since the jewelry change. Used to be worth it as it cost 60k each per chromium plating making it 240k gold to gold out such items. Now it costs 40k or so. Unless you are buying to complete part of a set you are missing there's no point.

Maybe an oversight ZoS? Switch them out for something else now or lower the prices?

They were lowered as part of update 40, are you still getting old prices?

ZOS did adjust prices of golden jewelry, but ZOS price is the same for everyone, player market prices are different between servers and platform.
Buying from golden does not make sense for console, but still makes sense for PCNA for example.

You are correct, the prices were as stated above. I've had covid the last few days so my mind was not clear sigh! Husah! Thanks.

It does make sense for me if it’s in a dlc dungeon that I haven’t had time to farm yet, and especially if I need it for an upcoming build.

You taking into consideration that you need 8 plating's now instead of 4 per piece?

On NA PS4/5 Golf Plates are around 4k each now. Cheaper if you are lucky. So even though the prices have been lowered 125 to 200k is stil high on Console. The only reason to buy them is to complete a set which I still will. Not complaining, it beats running dungeons for the darn things.

Thing is those gold plating's are around the 20 - 40K each on PC/NA much better than before the changes where they were hitting 400 - 500K+ each.

They should come up with new methods of spending AP because after jewelery crafting changes they buthcered golden jewelery vendor and lowering his prices won't change it.

Holy "$%^" batman, 400 to 500 k each? Theywere around 60k each prior to the change on PS/NA.

yeah i feel they are still a little expensive, but slightly expensive as buying the mats themselves

before the announcement of the jewelry change i was selling chromium platings for 500k each on PC NA lol

now the avg price is like hovering around 30k per

if you had to do a price compare before/after:

4 platings pre change cost 2 mil for the upgrade
8 platings post change cost 240k for the upgrade (so even with 2x the mat requirement, its roughly 10x cheaper in cost)

the jewelry cost in the notes is 125k gold for overland or 200k for dungeon, which is still cheaper than the cost of mats to do the upgrade on PC NA lol

it sounds like on console though, it would be much cheaper to upgrade yourself, than buy them at the gold vendor prices (at least for gold), its probably easier to earn AP than gold on console lol
