Is there a way to center the 3rd person view of your character? It didn't bother me too much until recently, when I bought a new 4k monitor and now my characters are way too far to the left of the screen. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

in the game settings for camera there should be something for "offset", by default the offset is off-center (so your character is to the left of your reticle)

that might cause it to look odd on say widescreen monitors

Yes, go in settings, then camera, under third person you have horizontal position and offset, you can change it by moving the slider as you prefer
