No sound after the patch!

i have a completely silent game after todays patch, and its only eso that has no sound, ive tested other games without any issues, i have restarted the game, reapplied the patch, restarted my PC, and yet nothing works

ItchyTheRat✭✭✭sadly disabling addons did nothing to help (i also restarted the game with no addons)
and now that im looking further in to it, any npc i talk to, has their mouth shut during the whole conversation, its very strangeHail fishers of Tamriel! Tired of herring about these boring guilds?
