Large Lag on NA server

I have been trying to play in Clockwork City, but lag makes it unplayable. Monsters do not appear but can still do damage. Opening chests has the audio play five to ten seconds after chest is opened. My companion shows only after combat is completed. This has been going on since 7AM Eastern time.
