I've been having the same issues for years, Basically since the beginning of the game. I've asked for help multiple different times in multiple different ways with no answer other than reset my Route. My character fails to use anability sometimes when I push the button. You see it highlighted but does nothing. Or will double do A ability even if I only push the ability once. For an example, hardened ward. When I get into Dungeons, it usually happens, but not in open worlds.. I can push the ability and write back-to-back. It will activate it again evil with my finger not on the controller. I have checked my internet I have even changed my Internet. I am running. 850 download 20-30 upload. It has cost me so many issues that I have gotten screwed over and no death run achievements in some of these areas. And before you think this is bashing them it is not. It is simply asking a question in which I have not gotten an answer since day one Currently i'm on the playstation five I was having the same issues on the playstation four which is the only reason I upgraded. I have waited patiently long enough for them to fix this. Not every one seems to have this problem. But there's a good portion of people that do. Till I asked a question again. Are you going to help me zos?

    -In before the potential lock-

No they will not. It's not their job to troubleshoot your pc/console issues. They are not your local helpdesk. They will stop at any connection issues you may have between the ZoS servers and your router. And even those problems they can't always solve because -and this is especially true in the US, because the EU has regulations in place to prevent such nonsense- ISP's will simple throttle your connection if it suits them. Comcast, for example, is notoriously known for throttling connections to game servers. What would you suggest they do to fix that problem?

So yes. all they can do is suggest a router reboot. Anything between your pc/console and your router is, as much as you don't want to hear it- your problem and not Zos's.

That said, there are some things you can try if you haven't already. It might not be ZoS's problem, but that doesn't mean these forums can't try to help.
First off, make sure your controller isn't broken and that it's fully powered. I know i know, but I've seen so many issues that eventually end up being a broken piece of hardware so you want to rule this out first. It's the simplest possible explanation and the easiest to fix. So check it. Play anything else that requires double-click button mashing and see if the problem is still there.
    - Don't use WiFi. Cabled connections are much more stable. If you have no choice but to use WiFi, at least make sure you're not on a WiFi channel that a lot of people around your house use. There are several free network scanners for both 'droids and IOS you can use to find out which channels are being used. Then change your WiFi channel to a less busy channel in your router.
    - Check your PS settings. I haven't used a PS in a loong time, but there used to be options that allow you to download updates and such while playing games. Disable these settings as it can cause serious latency, which seems to be your biggest problem.
    - Close any other programs you have running and try just playing the game.
    - When all else fails, do a full factory reset on your PS, download only ESO, and see if the problem is still there.

    Good luck=]
