[SUGGESTION] Give us war paints for our horses

I've always thought a vehicle system like WOW would work for mounted combat in ESO. Specifically in Cyro have horses you can "rent" for AP that you can ride around, have their own set of skills + ulti that are baked in and cant be changed but perhaps morphed as part of a mounted combat skill line in the Alliance War category. Have it so if you sprint into players they get knocked back etc for crowd control purposes and so on.

dyable mount armour wouldn't go a miss that's for sure. Keep the mounts base colours but let us change the saddle, armour bag colours etc.

To add we kind of already have this function with "The Hammer" in Cyro, in that we grab it and our skills are overridden. We could have the same for renting the horse (which would spawn it in), interacting with it to "mount" it, then basically having an overridden set of skills but with mount speed, unique anims as our character is fighting on it etc. To make it easier to develop just have mounted combat give the player an alliance themed lance/spear. So anims only need to be made for this new combat style and not all weapon types.

You could then go further and have a ranged combat variant which is a chariot, both with battlemage and archer options to suit player headcanon. That might liven PVP up a little bit.

Whenever I am dashing across a zone on my mount, I often want the ability to have my mounts do damage as they charge by/over whatever is in the way.

...Then I am reminded of two worlds, where I was constantly being chased out of town because I gave the villagers an ouchie while riding my horse though town.. (I wasn't even going at speed, but sometimes just normal walking was enough!)

Feel like there more likely to add a further selection of horses already painted in different ways to buy from the crown store.

I think there is another thread (older one) that discusses mounted fights.

I specifically would like to see cosmetic additions that allows to paint some parts of the mount skins.

Yeah, I have long wanted cosmetics for mounts, especially tack.

I think it is too late for the next bit specifically, but I would have loved it if we could have found 'skins' for the mounts that would allow us to change the markings (so you could get the black horse, and give it a 'paint skin' and have a black paint horse, or you could find something like 'blaze and four white legs' and your mount would have a blaze and four white socks/stockings)

Beyond that, having ways to change the tack/cosmetic markings on the mount would be great.
