survey maps and treasure maps. how many did you do before servers went down?

56 on one account 77 on the other finished up a couple hours before the servers go offline. What a way to spend a day.

Plentiful Harvest perk was only providing forty percent chance of double drop from resource nodes. It has been fixed and after patch it will provide fifty percent as it is designed.

Other than that no changes as far as i know.

I had forgotten about the servers going down at 4 AM EDT, so this thread reminded me to finish everything before then-- daily and weekly endeavors, event activities, hireling mails, daily crafting, etc. I barely finished in time, in fact I grabbed my writs on my newest alt but didn't do all of them, although I was careful to do Alchemy and turn it in before logging out.

I wonder how many hundreds of thousands of gold got deleted due to the 10% proc chance bug, should have waited on those surveys mate.

Whoever told you that was a good idea was pulling your leg.
Should've done that after the patch. You'd have gotten 5% more base and upgrade mats.

I only had time to do writs on my main so I picked up 21 surveys this morning before the server went down.

I was aware of the CP node bug being fixed in U40 but having kept surveys uncollected when CP 2.0 was announced and remembering how much of a chore it felt like to collect 5 weeks' worth of surveys after I thought I would not inflict that upon myself again.

Furthermore we are in the middle of an event and I still have my alt to do after work - providing that everything goes to plan with the U40 rollout - then event related activities...

5% potential loss on my main's surveys for today is a price I'm prepared to pay if it means I don't feel like I'm ice skating uphill this evening.

I thought the same but drop chance has not dropped on PTS except that the old grains become platting and the old plating become 10 new ones. Cost of improving is also the same as other items so 8 for golding.

Yup, same. The increase in drops is not large enough to justify hoarding, for me.

Wait, they said jewelry writs from before the change would remain unchanged, so you absolutely want to do those AFTER the patch because your crafting mats will multiply by 10 making the old writs a significantly better payout, the ones after the patch will be altered to reflect the more common drop rate and value of jewelry mats.

I've got a ton of gold jewelry writs for after the patch.

None. I had too much else going on to bother. I did a delve on each main all 3 accounts both PC megaservers, did daily crafting as per normal, and logged out to put my house back together after family over the weekend.

I do writs, surveys and treasure maps weekly. I didn't even know about the survey bug until day before yesterday, because the ESO community sucks at broadcasting valuable information like that, so I've done a lot of surveys without knowing I wasn't getting the proper rewards. No point getting mad since all I can do is take the L and move along; there's always more surveys and materials to gather.

Sunday until i fall asleep is the day i sacrifice game play to do those maps for mats and treasure when i do them. It was tedious to have to run to town and drop off mats in the guild bank every time my inventory got full but it is done for a while.

There were DOZENS of threads over the years in both the Bug Reports subforum, and the Crafting subforum, I know, because I posted myself it multiple times.

You also have a large number of players who post contrary information with only anecdotal evidence at best, and actual misinformation at worst.

It went unacknowledged by ZoS for years as well.

Would be incredible if ZoS has a "Issues we're aware of" type sticky they posted and updated regularly to let us know that they are at least aware of the issues reported. (There are other MMOs that do this)

The more important thing to hoard is the Jewelry Crafting Master Writs (with the exception of the stupid triune ones). The cost to make them will be significantly reduced.
