1. So it appears that the article about the Secrets of the Telvanni Event was right in some sort of way. The Telvanni reward coffers do drop the Kindred's Concord motif pages.
Motif went live yesterday and since then you can drop it also from the telvanni reward coffers (if you have left some of them stashed somewere, however keep in mind that there is probably some sort of daily CD).
I mean this really makes me sad, as it kinda confirms my theory, that the motif was supposed to go live with the event, but someone decided to postpone it (in the name of keeping the zone alive longer I guess?) Many people were dissapointed that this motif wasn't live during the event (you can find their feedback in the Secrets of the Telvanni feedback thread). So I only ask the devs for one thing in the future: while choosing between two options for the game developement, always pick the one that will make the game more fun for the player.
I mean it is the fun that keeps us playing, and at the end of the day it is the fun that keeps your game alive and healthy at the steamcharts and other sources that show players' engagement.
2. And now the motif went live. So finaly I gathered my friends and was hyped to run some Nymics. We waited for it for so long, I even had the 18th marked in my calendar..
We all got one page very early. It seems like everyone got it from the first opportunity to obtain it (first stashed Telvanni rewards coffer, or first last boss chest in the Bastion Nymic). That was nice we said to ourlselves and we kept doing more runs. However after couple of them we didn't get anything more. We even tried to to do 1 nymic with all the side bosses and secrets - still nothing.
So we realized that there is a cool down on the motif page (or the drop rate turns near zero after the fist page). We stopped playing and loged off from the game.
So here is my feedback: I wanted to play more and have some fun, but the devs decided that this party is "one song only" and we can "come back tomorrow" to dance to another song. Really is this how you're suppose to have fun? This is a group content. Its not like we all have time to play everyday, and be online at the same time. IMHO decisions like that are just bad for the game. If you wanted to make the Bastion Nymics more alive you could've done it just by increasing the drop rate of the rewards that are already there. I mean, the whole idea of Bastion Nymics is great, but after doing it 10 times (with all secrets and side bosses) there is no purpouse to do it again if not for the rewards. The furnishing plans and furnishings that are supposed to drop from the chests are close to none existent. That makes this content kinda waste of time after you explored it all. The other thing that could've put some live in it was this motif. But it seems like the devs want us to do 1 nymic a day for 14 days, instead of doing as many of them as we like, whenever we want to.
This seems to be the new formula for keeping players engaged with the game: visit this one public dungeon daily for the fragment, do this one IC quest daily for 140 days to complete the Gravegrasp stylepages, do this conquest mission daily for 30 days to get the cosmetic, repeat that for 60 more days on other fractions, run this dungeon endless of times to get this one missing lead.. I mean please don't put everything into grind mode/daily routine mode. This is not fun, its more like work or addiction. And it wount keep the game alive and healthy it will just make its statistics more blurry for some time. Because as I said before at the end of the day it is the fun that keeps us playing the game.
