Is the Spindleclutch quest fixed yet?

So i don't know about anyone else, but I attempted to do the quest for Spindleclutch 3 times yesterday. Each time, the update for the first objective (clear the 1st cave), would not update, making the quest impossible to complete.

I have no reason to run this dungeon anymore aside from the quest (I really need that skillpoint), so I'd really rather not run it again until I know for sure that this is fixed.

    Didn't have that issue yesterday, quest completed on first run through.

    Did you participate in the fight with the boss of cave one?

    Yeah I tanked it 3 times all the way through. The 2nd and 3rd objectives complete just fine but the 1st will not update. Tried everything I can think of.

    We ran into to it yesterday. The first time we ran it and the first objective did not complete. We did it a second time and made sure the NPC group kept moving with us and did not move onto the second objective until they do their short dialog after the first boss was defeated and the objective completed this time.

    Thank you or this info. I didn't realize there was any dialogue after the first boss. As a tank it's difficult to pay attention to this sort of thing since you already have so much to pay attention to lol. I'll give it another try and see if this works.

    I just ran it three times with a group and we didn't get credit for the first cave at all. We did as suggested and waited for dialog after the first cave, but there wasn't any dialog. The fighters just stood there. Talking to them gave you no options. They just stand there. Then when you enter the second cave, they finally catch up but you don't get credit for the first cave. I hope this gets fixed soon

    I had the same problem today the people would not even move to the first cave they just stand at the entrance and do nothing . My group tried standing near them to get then to move but they just stand there. We killed everything leading to and in the first cave I'm at a loss.

    Biggest issue I've been finding is the unplayable lag that only occurs in Spindle. Hits don't register, spells are delayed, it is completely unplayable, and unacceptable for a newly launched game to have so many issues with its first dungeon.

    Our group is having this problem. After clearing the first room it does not update that it was cleared, of note, no one got loot from the boss that was killed (not sure if that indicates anything). We tried talking to the fighter after the first room spider boss but nothing, he just says to get a move on and stands there.

    We moved ahead and cleared the second, it gave us credit. So we know where the quest is stuck. Giving the update for first room clear.

    Has anyone pushed forward trying to get to the end. Does the quest progress move forward even if the first room doesn't get cleared.

    I had the same issue where they don't move but never continued to move forward. My group tried disbanding and going to back in to reset it but nothing changed.

    We completed it twice and didn't get credit either time. No quest reward or skill point.

    Hopefully they can fix it I would really like to finish the dungeon and get that skill point

    Yeah I just tried it again and the same dam thing. Worst part is that you are stuck here now and cannot progress to the other two dungeons. They need to get this fixed.

    What's weird is I know people in one of my guilds who have completed the dungeon no problem.

    It seems odd that some players are effected and some aren't

    It clearly isn't a wide spread issue or there would be a lot more posts here. But I just tried it AGAIN and I am done with this piece of crap bugged dungeon. The worst part is the "hint" section of the quest tracker that says "Be sure not to leave Praxin behind". As if we have a choice. He just stands there like a tool. And since this issue clearly isn't effecting many people, then we can expect it to linger for weeks before it gets fixed if ever. I am pretty discouraged about this because now I cant do either of the other two dungeons w/o completing the one in your home zone, so were screwed.

    Yea it won't get as much attention as the more pressing and widespread problems. Is there a way to make sure that the Devs or Customer support get this.

    Spindelclutch and Banished Cells are bugged, at least on NA. You can not progress the quest in them: the NPCs in Spindelclutch do not progress, and you can not free the Keepers in Banished Cells...

    It is still the same phase problems they had since beta, and that was never fixed. ZOS restarts some servers (or the whole "mega server" infra), it works for a time, then phases got mixed up, and it is back to square one.

    Do not get me wrong, i love the game, but the lack of progress on this bug since beta is just annoying... Wonder if they will ever fix it or just wait for the population to spread (hence less tempering by many people on the same phases/facets of a quest/dungeon)...

    Oh well, back to progressing on the quests that are working properly.

    I'm not sure there is anything we can do besides post here and submit a ticket. I submitted about 7 tickets just for good measure :)

    We had this problem today and I've done it 2 times. The npc just got stuck and didn't progress at all and there was no dialog after the first boss what so ever. We could get the 2nd cave done and he would progress to the 3rd cave and we finished that. Only problem was the 1st cave.

    An update: I was able to complete the dungeon earlier tonight.

    My group still had to leave disband and regroup a few times to get it to work so it still seems bugged.

    I noticed that all the times my progress was blocked I wouldn't hear the spiders whispering as we moved forward. When it did work there was whispers from what I know now is te last boss during the whole dungeon

    Our group had this same issue. We acquired the quest from Praxin, then cleared the first small group of spiders. The NPC group moved up to that first group of spiders with us.

    We cleared the first group of spiders, and the NPCs were supposed to move up and start burning the webs. They remained in place as we cleared the entire dungeon. The quest did not update for the first cave, but the second and third caves were cleared without any trouble. The quest updated for only the second and third caves, not the first.

    We killed the dungeon boss, and the got the achievement. We did not complete the quest. We tried exiting the dungeon, then disbanding the party, reforming, and entering the dungeon to do it again. This did not work.

    We exited the dungeon again to a wayshrine, then disbanded a second time, reformed, and entered Spindleclutch again. This time the NPC group progressed normally.

    If you don't hear the voices after clearing the first small spider group, then you have this bug in your instance.

    Hmm. Well at least it seems like it can be reset. I tried mutiple times to reform the group, reset the instance etc with no luck. Plus it's very hard to find a pug with enough patience to do this. But at least there is hope.

    Yes you might have to try a few times but it can be done. It's annoying I was in about 3 different PUGs becuase people kept dropping out due to the bug.

    Completed it no problem for the 1st time today. The "Cell" Dungeon though, ran into problems.

    Yep, can confirm. Broken for my group. Resetting and/or disbanding our party and starting over wont help.

    We even pulled the boss back to the group, nothing happened - first quest objective wont update.

    I'm really disappointed, this is the very first group dungeon players encounter.. and it is bugged..

    Just thought I'd go ahead and post that its still broken. 4 Runs and the first cave failed to complete. We tried skipping the first boss and making our way through the dungeon and then back tracking. The guards will run ahead to cave 2 and 3 but cave 1 remains incomplete even after retroactively killing the boss. Dropped group every time and reformed. Made sure the quest holder was lead. Even sent the quest holder in alone to see if they could force the guards to move. Obviously they didn't get far with the first pull. This was working just before launch as I had completed it with no issue.
