Login Queue

Has anyone every gotten the login queue and moved into the game after it? It's come up for me a lot lately, and I always get stuck at 1 sec. I don't even bother waiting anymore. I just leave. I'm curious if this is the case for everyone or many others? Because if so, that's a pretty broken system.

Tevalaur✭✭✭✭✭The few times I've managed to get past the queue I've not been able to mail or bank or change zones anyhow. Eventually the game tells me that there's not a valid internet connection, but it seems to be the game servers as all other internet functions work just fine. Yes, it always hangs at 1 second, but today leaving the queue and trying again is just tying up the servers worse... it eventually either drops with error or connects, leaving to try again just puts you in a longer queue.┌───────────────────────────────┐Author of Sunshine Daydream's Guide to Crafting└───────────────────────────────┘Is Uncle John's band calling you? This was actually from before this patch. But it's worse now since the patch. There is a thread about it somewhere. Basically because of more players in the game, this started kicking on IIRC. It existed for a while but never triggered I think. Now with more people playing, it does get triggered.0 -

Actually this has been a problem for the last week or two, not new to the patch. But infuriating none the less.1 -

We are fairly certain we have identified what's causing this issue, but unfortunately it's not realistically something we will be able to fix tonight. We'll give everyone an update when we have more information to share.1 -

Funny how, here we are, over a year later and this entire thread is still relevant at this moment. How many servers did you yank down this time in an attempt to save a few more nickels? How much do we give you guys a year? I know for me it's a little over 500. How many others do that? And you can't keep enough servers running for us to even get into the game? You know, that game we pay for?1 -
