Secrets of the Telvani event reward?

Are there really only one of two rewards available from this event?

What are the rewards, if any, other than the one of the two rewards that the player base will vote for?

This seems like a lot of time in game working on this for so little reward. Am I missing something? One of these quests even requires significant time in the Bastions thing that I'm not at all fond of.

The entire page is here: https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/secretsofthetelvanni

In addition to the voting rewards, there's also a pet, a body/face marking, and a house at various levels of engagement. All of that will be free to all Necrom owners after the event.

Prior years also ended up giving us a few days of double XP right after, so it remains to be seen if this will be coming as well.

Otherwise, it's a standard in-game zone event with event tickets, a new outfit style, and the last fragment of the year-long costume.

There are delve dailies from one of the Ordinators - the one on the right, can't remember her name. That gets you 2 tickets per day. I think the one on the left has World Bosses maybe? Don't know, delves are all I have time and energy for - and just for info, Quires Wind is one of those total PITAs where it takes WAY too long to figure out how to get up and down where you need to be; the Cammonaruhn delve is WAY easier and faster, and the fetch things from the Temple is really easy too.

The daily event for choosing the tome or music box is only easy if you don't have a bajillion people around so you can see both quest givers. Once the one daughter pays you, don't take her follow on quest if you want the tome; find the other arrow, and start looking for Esoteric Parchments.

@centime - I did a double take at your forum ID; I haven't run across the word "centime" since college French in 1966!

Ok, I was wondering if someone could help me out. We have to pick or choose to do either Yensa's daily quest (which is find the pages) or her sister's daily quest (which is save the father).

And we can only do ONE of these quests, correct?? And whichever quest you choose to complete is your vote for whichever extra prize (the book or the music box)?

This seems to be my impression too, that you have to choose the quest you want the reward for. But I'm confused because they both have blue arrows, which usually means you can do them every day. Does that mean we can "vote" for which extra reward we want every day? I would really like to do each quest at least once so I can see the story too.

I believe you can do one of those every day, yes. I guess I'll find out tomorrow....

    Thanks, TaSheen :)

And yeah, we'll have to see tomorrow. By all logic, it definitely appears that you can do them every day. I will have to see if I can do the alternate quest tomorrow or if I'm "locked" into the one I chose every day.

I completed the saving pages quest for the tome and then noticed that I had the other quest in my log so I completed that too and received a second purple loot box from the second sister. There was no message to say I had already made a decision.

I Haven't completed both quests yet, just the pages one. If you complete it at the Mouth NPC instead of going back to the giver, he gives you the choice of which sister to support. I'm guessing now, but I think you will get the same dialogue whichever quest you complete.

I think saving the father might be a one time quest? The pages one makes you choose between the sisters when you turn it in, which is the community extra reward choice of book or music box. I think it may be THAT one which is the repeatable community daily.

    We’ll find out tomorrow! LOL

Wouldn't it be cool if everyone ended up doing both quests and ZOS had to give us both extra rewards because there was a tie? :D

    Greetings,

After further review we have decided to move this thread to a category we think is more appropriate for this topic, as it's event related.

    Thank you for your understanding

No, no, no, this is wrong - you can do both quests. You can save the father and gather the sheets - when you turn in the sheets quest, you pick which sister you choose then. The quest to save the father is just a daily that rewards you an event box.

Ah! That's good to know - stuff's a bit confuzzled with the "formal explanations" we were given!

Ok, so it seems like you can only do the pages quest ONCE. Or, at least, the daily quest giver (the Mouth dude) does not show up for me today.

    Anyone else confirm?
