Are You Worried What Is Coming Next?

So, the Endless Dungeon thing is coming soon, and we have little info on that so far. I am not worried about that at all. But are you worried about what else might be coming with it? You can find out the info here:

Part of that info says this:

This will be your first opportunity to see Endless Archive gameplay, so don’t miss out!

Pay attention to the part I put in bold and Italics above. So, with that part stated from ZOS, are you worried more changes are coming that you may not like? A lot of people didn't like the changes made to account wide achievements and other updates after that. Were you one of these people and are you worried now, maybe even just a teeny bit?

So, with that question asked, let's get to the poll.

I'm well aware. And yes, I also get annoyed by some of ZOS' decisions. But I'm not going to worry about it. When it stops being fun I'll find another game , just like I did a few dozen times before.

I'm concerned that "Endless Archive" will be restricted to the Arcanist chapter and will not be available as DLC (I'm ESO+ but won't be buying new chapters every year).

I'm mildly concerned that U40 will be a mess.

I'm more concerned that, like U39, there just won't be any substance to it. U39 delivered very little when you consider that it deprived ESO+ players of the usual additional DLC.

For me it's not a case of a final straw, more like death by a thousand cuts... if they keep cutting the quality and quantity of new content then I can see the point when I lose interest.

Don't know, but if so, and if it's something I don't like, it could be the last straw for me.

They've been systematically destroying my preferred playstyle (stamNB dps) so I'm sad to say I'm indifferent at this point, I just hope it won't be something that slows down combat, or a combat-related change in general--these are usually for the worse.

I think they've already hinted at what's coming, namely class-based gear or whatever it was. In any case, we'll find out more soon enough, and it seems pointless and counterproductive to worry about unknowns.

Not rly worried, just very tired of the same type of meta in pvp year after year, the tankmeta is getting rly old, I dont play alot these days, but I would like to play more if and when Undeath passive gets nerfed aswell as block holding while healing.

I am worried they are not going to fix the Grim Focus permaglow and botch even more weapon and skill balancing like with U39 and thus further drive me away from content, so yes.

If it was last year yes. But right now no because having all classes ready for raid sort of makes me immune to changes. No matter what they do one of them will be meta anyway.

I only worry about what I can control. I roll with the rest of it, best way to live. Plan for the future, but don't obsess over things that might never happen, and remember to enjoy the moment, cause any of em could be your last.

I am expecting it to be bad, but unsure about what kind of bad - hilarious, annoying, rage-inducing? They are quite creative when it comes to messing things up, but I have stopped taking this game seriously anyway, so it is no longer such a big deal.

I am finding it harder and harder to log in every day. There is just nothing to do. And there won’t be anything to do until the next chapter.

If zos is basically not going to give us any content for a year, can they at least make the chapter have some substance?

A single delve daily and a single wb daily is not enough. (Yes, I am purposely ignoring the Nymic and dungeons.) if this was high isle at least we would have eruptions.

ESO used to be the go to game to log into every night. Now I am finding F76 has more content for me. That is just crazy.

There are lots of people who will find something to hate in any change announcement, so I'm sure the forums will blow up. I'm not really worried personally though. More often than not I think ZOS's changes make sense, and nothing they've done has been completely game breaking for me (although the removal of Crystal Blast from Sorcerer came close, and I'm not a huge fan of hybridization).

No, worrying is pointless.
They will implement whatever changes they wish regardless of whether I or anyone think the changes are "bad" or "good".

The only thing I have to decide when they do is:
1. Are these changes something I can work with? If so, adjust, adapt and carry on.
OR
2. Are these changes so negatively invasive that they remove the majority of enjoyment I have in-game?
If so, then it's time to move on to other games or entertainment.

At least until they revert the majority of changes that caused me to leave, in which case I'd likely pick it back up again lol.

Expect ebb and flow, always. Much less stress that way.

I guess that forums and publics will be full of ideas and discussions how bad/good it is, how it could be done better, how many veteran players will leave the game and how dead the ESO is again. Nothing new, you know
Anyway this is the way that changes come to community. Denial, anger, bargaining...

Whatever it is, it won't be the last straw because I'm not so much charged with any previous changes. Something good, something bad.
Something can push me out temporarily from one-two aspects of the game, because I'm not ready to adapt for instance. You know, not ready to change my builds today, not ready to group for something I managed to do solo before, not ready to farm delves for sets I bought for AP before. But it is temporary and it doesn't mean it is bad. I'll adapt in let's say a month or two and try it again.

Some speculation:

• Slight nerf of Arcanist, as usual for a new class in Autumn
• Companions take their roles in LFG tool
• Transmute cap removed (well, I know, but let me have some sweet dreams)
• Random class or skillbranch randomly broken (happens)
• Werewolves remake

Nothing to worry about - probably going to discuss class sets, all in one crafting tables, but who knows? Also I love account wide achievements. It’s controversial, but all they have to do is add a toggle option to use character or account achievements.

Anytime something is controversial, it needs to be a toggle plain and simple. If it benefits any % of the player base, then do it if it’s a QOL feature and if there’s still a bunch that may not like it, make it a toggle.

My guess is that a big part of the major changes are the LFG and the Combined Crafting tables they mentioned earlier this year/ late last year (forget which).

I don't really have big hopes about either so I don't think it will have much of an impact on me.

Totally forgot about the group finder for normal trials and forming groups and stuff. Will make bastion nymics better for sure too. Pretty excited for that. Belkarth about to be dead af

Not this time. If it's really bad, I'll either figure out workarounds, or I'll go play something else - like back to Skyrim full time, plus redo my Oblivion install.
