BUGGED Main Story Quest (Messages for Tamriel)- ABOUT TO RAGEQUIT AND DELETE GAME

I am currently level 50 and trying to progress in the story quest, which is lvl 43 ( Messages for Tamriel) Supposedly, I am suppose to go to town and spawn Vanus Galerion to talk to him. However, he does not appear, and I am unable to complete the quest and go on further. I also cannot abandon the quest , which would solve the problem.

I have been stuck in queue for customer support chat for hours now, and this is absolutely ridiculous. If this problem is not solved soon, I am thinking about qutting and deleting this game. Please help.

I used the customer support feature, and I sent them an email and have been waiting in this ask for help chat for a good bit. The problem with the ask for help chat is you cannot do anything else in the game as you have to leave it open, which is an absolute horrid game design.

Usually I think this problem could be solved by abandoning the quest, but sadly you cannot do that. Do their customer support people ever respond in the forums.

Agreed. There is a scheduled maintenance tomorrow night for na shards so you can probably expect an update that will fix most if not all the current bugs. Chill out and have some patience

The game's not even officially out yet and you`re complaining of a level 40+ quest and already threatening to quit. riiiight, you rushed to 50 just to quit =p Go get some fresh air, actually enjoy the scenery and explore or something - I think you need it.

There are always similar posts in every mmo launch - all I read is *brag* end game is broken I'll quit I swear! *brag*

my VR1 since 1 day and i cant contuine playing VR content too. I cant talk with the NPC and complete the mainstory. Its sad and frustrating, because i wont play pvp to reach VR2.

push the thread. this needs to be fixed fast!

This is still bugged, Seriously ZeniMax fix this. How can you expect people to pay for a product that technically doesn't work. The Main story quest is A MAIN FEATURE, if we can't play one of the main features we shouldn't be expected to pay. Fix this ASAP or allow us to abandon and re-take main quests to try and fix this ourselves!!

The thing that guts me most is I can see the NPC in the fighters guild entrance yet when it talk to her, she tells me to talk to her in front of the chapel... which then she doesnt give anyone a chance to talk to!!

its a main quest, fix it:)!

Ragequitting might help. The first days and weeks of release will help separate the wheat from the chaff.

Imagine hundreds of thousands people reporting bugs at the same period and ofcourse you can fix it quicker


And a tip, report it, check on forums for tips if there aren't any wait for an bug fix patch

What a useless answer ^^ , this isnt a lil bug of crieng kids, thats a main bug, i cant play anymore! And if Million of People would play it, for that they get money, more people = more money = bigger team to solve problems. I reported it 3 times, posted it, search 3days for it. so wtf u talking about ^^. This is the worst support i ever get, thats all i say.

other threat had a maybe solution = change ur language! and it could work, after it change back.

Hey i could join the Vertran content, after i had this quest.

Solution
1. if u find Vanus Galerion but cant talk to him. Change ur Language! try it, Change it back try it. This should work.

2. if Vanus Galerion didnt spawn. Group with someone how could travel to Coldharbour, than port to him. Than make Quests, there u will get a normal Quests!!! But this isnt a normal quest, its the mainquest witch u would get if u had talk to Vanus Galerion. Finish this Quest, and u will play through the story! So u will Skip this bugged *** quest. hope it help.
