Class Achievements, can't you really put some heart and love in them (and the classes)?

U39 has introduced a bunch of new achievements among which you get an achievement of a certain class for leveling your first character of that class to lvl10 and another one for lvl50.

The idea of introducing class related achievements sounds nice to the health of class diversity and would encourage people trying out more other classes they have never played before, to some extent. However, whatever we got as a result looks rather perfunctory and meaningless.

Linking it to the character level, instead of the progression of class skill lines sounds a bit weird. You don't really have to do something unique to your class to get THE achievement of your class. Though the achievements themselves are currently only more than nothing, so this is kind of not yet unacceptable.
Why does Templar get their achievemnt icon a special light aura while all others don't? It is unfair for templar and also for the others. Templar is NOT the chosen one, the other classes are NOT bullying Templar. Please do keep them in consistency, or give each class their own color.
Speaking of color, red is absolutely not the color for templars. They can't do anything red from their kit except the burns from burning status effect caused by and only by sun fire and its morphs. Even that, is not the scarlet red, the burn is more towards orange, and the orange-red flames should belong to Dragonkights. Templar's color is light golden! The bright yellow! Sorcerer, between violet and purple. Nightblade, around crimson, darkened. Warden, light teal. Necromancer, blue. Arcanist, dark lime.
Another diversity is the names of the ahievenemts. It's good to see that those names aren't format identical, but Sorcerer and Necromancer are using completely the same titles, Master Sorcerer/Necromancer and Grand Sorcerer/Necromancer. I can already think up some pairs of names for necromancer like Summoner of Death/Lord of Death, or The Unliving/The Undead.
Last but not least, as mentioned that these achievements don't really require people to explore the ways of the class, hence all those names sounds rather empty. From a stricter degree, (I'm sure most of you guys won't like it but...) I do think that it should requires a player to have a character completely maxed out of both morphs of all skills of all their 3 class skill lines to obtain the highest rank of the class-related achievement. I think there should be added something like this in addition to what we get, and probably a bit reward in consistency with the deep knowledge of the class, for example, increase the effectiveness, of all skills from the respective class by 1%. This could probably also encourage people (especially the new players) to try all roles instead of BELIEVING or being taught/told the one-one mapping (that templar/warden is healer, dragonkight is tank, arcanist dps, sorcerer is the pet pact then one click easy mode, and necromancer, just don't play it at all) without a second thought.

(This post is NOT talking about the class balance, numerical figure, or numerically evaluated combats, etc..)

Completely agree with most points, specifically linking to character levels, the icons, and the achievement names. However, the achievement unlocking only after maxing both morphs of every ability seems unnecessarily tedious, as opposed to just a single morph of each ability.

Now, having bonuses linked to achievements seems benign, but I'm not a fan of it. I mean, it could end up leading to future achievements doing the same, and in the worst case scenario lead to more elitist gatekeeping. Personally, I'd rather achievement rewards stay purely cosmetic. Things like class-related titles, or costumes. I mean, 'Grand Sorcerer', short and sweet yet still sounds cool.

I see it as a way to say to us to buy the chapters or the new classes just to complete those achievements. Sadly, I don't have the time and money to spend on crowns to level up several characters from scratch just to complete this new category because I am not willing to repeat all quests on those 5 new characters (for each class I don't have created and leveled to 50) just to complete those achievements. Wish they release class change tokens. I would gladly make my effort to spend real money and buy them.

The Arcanist achievement was for the mini-event, wasn't it? Guess we'll have "level Class X" events now regularly?

I mean, it did make me level an Arcanist, and stop playing my "been there, seen it all" Necro, with whom I barely logged in for more than Endeavours and events anymore. So mission accomplished...?

They are simple check marks that ZOS introduced to get us, especially newer players that may have only rolled an arcanist, to buy older content and try out base game classes, both of which are good for the overall health of the game. ZOS probably has better things to devote significant programming time to, like FIXING THE #%&*@! STUCK IN COMBAT BUG!!!

I got to agree with this. Having it be the morphs would have been way too much, and the achievements are tedious enough as it is.

There absolutely should have been cosmetic rewards. Titles or even a dye would've been nice.

I also would like an achievement to max out all the classes, as opposed to just the basegame ones.
