    Yes, that is true. Actually, there probably exists more than one "Bernadette Laurent" in our world, too. If any of them are wealthy heiresses with a penchant for adventuring, then I suppose a link there makes more sense than one to ESO.

    However, when you mix "Laurent", "wealthy", and "adventurer" together and add in the proximity of Elder Scrolls lore to Bethesda Game Studios, the probability of it being a reference to ESO rises dramatically.

    There could be multiple Elder Scrolls (incl. ESO), and Fallout references in the game, actually.

    I mean, the Motierre family ended up entwined with the Dark Brotherhood across multiple games, I don’t see why the Laurent family couldn’t do the same across franchises.

    My take on that is that it's the dwemer that are the link between the two. In Tamriel's past, the dwemer discovered space technology, and then left, never to return.
