Please, let's not recreate the morass that exists in a certain other MMO. Specifically, having too much information available to the general public that creates friction and elitism. For raids or dungeons (unless a private group) stats should be available to a user about themselves and possible how it ranks with the others in the group, not specific DPS/Damage just ranking. I see that Recount announced that due to changes in the API that only that players info would be available to them...I applaud this choice in direction.

This is fine, but I mainly came to post that the API is lacking information about ourselves that would be most useful to better our character(s).
