✭✭✭✭✭I can't log in yet and I think I'm a few days behind, but after the free psijic crates a few years back the bar has been very low for me: any free crates which don't give me a spider are ok.

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.1 -

I'm in the same boat as you having to wait until tomorrow, and my luck has been equally bad. I don't really think it's nonrandom though. I just think the drop rates on anything desirable are so low as to be nearly insignificant for anyone who isn't buying crates 15 at a time.2 -

Agreed. I once got an apex mount from a free crate, but it wasn't because those crates were better, I just got lucky. Other people only got face markings or accessories from the same crates, and at other times I got those and someone else got an apex mount.
Don't fall into the trap of thinking the first couple of drops are representative of the drop rate overall, or even your own luck. There's absolutely no guarantee later crates will follow the same 'pattern'. You can get some idea of the drop rate by looking at everyone's drops, but if you're going to use a topic like this you need to bear in mind people are more likely to want to talk about good drops than bad or unremarkable ones so that can skew the data. Same. Happy for the gems! Oh, AND for the Crown Riding lessons.
Edit to add: Missed a crate on my second acct NA - just went back to do writs on my main, opened the crate, and got junk PLUS the senche leopard mount and another riding lesson. That's the only account I did NOT have that mount on....
Then went on to the crate I missed on my third acct NA:

I got the inferno ink body tattoo and 11 gems. There wasn't anything I really wanted from these crates except maybe the fire atronach memento. Tomorrow I get the crates on NA.IGN @ emilypumpkin, imperial pumpkin seller & ghost hunter

Lipsticks are always faded on vampires, and I don’t recall how they work for Argonians and Khajiit, if at all.0 -
