You find yourself using Flappy Bird to heal your group in these random vet dungeons sometimes?

I noticed a recurring theme while doing random vet dungeons. There is always one or even 2 people that can't stay alive, lol. Sometimes our healer can't even keep the tank up, it's sad. I don't bail on low level groups like some people do. It's a waste of my time and theirs. I know sometimes even before we begin, that our group is going to have trouble. Then, they always run over and click the thing on the ground, to make it harder, haha. I'm groaning at home on my laptop, like I knew that was gonna happen when we in this struggle group. I'm just curious how often sorcs have to use their flappy bird to keep your group up? I actually find myself doing it, about 1 in every 3-4 runs. Sometimes more often, if it's a weekend. I'm always amazed at how spamming the bird, is so effective, especially if you have a huge magic pool. That bird might be annoying to some, but he's amazing in a pinch!

Yep, my oakensorc doesn't mind helping out the healer at all. I always keep the bird around just in case. I actually healed with the bird 3/4th of vet Imperial City Prison last night as the healer left immediately after entering the dungeon and we had to wait for replacement to arrive. It was far from a perfect run as our tank was also struggling a bit but we managed. Giving up some dps to keep my team mates alive and finishing the boss instead of doing fat crits just seems like a no brainer to me.

If I didn't have my flappy birb, the group would have just disbanded after a wipe or two and I would feel I would have wasted all that time waiting for the dungeon queue for nothing.

Yes, I've had to do it for more than one moongrave fane group... on a tank. If it works, it works. I can make room for clannfear therefore I can make room for matriarch.

My flappy bird was saving the tank on heal checks and people in ice, or if the healer ended up in ice , in VSE . Works perfect

Best burst heal in the game, at least for dungeons.

Why? Because it's directionless, hitting 2 targets anywhere in a broad radius.

In theory templar's AoE heal is a strong runner-up, but I've never used it. (I haven't healed 4-person dungeons since before I adopted HA Oakensoul builds, so I always was more conservative about sustain.)

Honestly if Socr gets 2 full burst heals then every class should get 2 full burst heals. Or give it the Templar treatment and make one heal full heal and another @ 35%.

    Stay safe :)

I don't know if there are many fake healers in pugs for vet, but judging by some DDs behaviour, many people run around like headless chickens and don't stay in front of the healer to actually get healed :D

In some cases it's impossible due to mechanics, sure, but if there is no stupid behind a boss, park your behind there in the safe spot and get healed ;)

I refuse to use the bird, it's too aggravating to me. When I tank and sorcs dump the attro in my face, or spawn a daedroth, I pull the boss through it so I can read mechanics, and they can look at daedroth backside.
I also think the tank should do those off heals you mention, so we can finish this thing sometime today lol. If the other dd heals like a healer, who's doing damage?

    ?

It is literally the only heal in the game that takes up TWO bar slots.

We’ve had it where both of the healers were in ice in vSE before. If the healers lay out AOE HOTs under them before they ice it’s typically an easy mech and super fast breakout.
