    The maintenance for both servers is planned for Monday the 26th.

    Yeah, that's the second emergency maintenance downtime within a week now:

    On top of that there are plenty of individual complaints from players booted from server without understandable reason. Obviously the new servers for PC EU aren't working as intended.

    And zos is still silent about the whole topic, pretending these issues aren't existing. That's something to be ashamed of. @ZOS_Kevin

    Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.

    For a bug that's in play for three weeks now and friday evening is choosen to do maintanance on this? What the heck?!

    Willing to bet it's due to the fact that there's a handfull of delves in the game where if you enter them the game yeets you off the server

    What makes that clear? Why should "releasing new stuff" mean the game gets taken offline during prime time, and why is that only the case on one server?

    there are literally 3 people on one thread complaining about being booted trying to enter delves.

    How about "don't enter delves this evening. They don't work. We'll take the game offline at 5am CEST and fix it"

    Lol. That's a UI issue only, since you aren't actually taking Poison damage every 2 seconds for the next 136 years. It would be very nice to see it fixed, but since it's been going on for most of the game's lifetime, I suspect they haven't justified spending the resources on something that is purely a UI problem - especially when they haven't found the resources to fix the streak bug, which is most definitely not limited to UI.

    no. it's because i used to work in the weekends. and people love to go to places like supermarkets, restaurants, bars, sports clubs, or cinemas in the weekend which requires people work in the weekends. these are places that most people go to pretty regularly especially in the weekend.

    every day is another day and bugs being fixed sooner than later is a good thing.

    not to forget zos also works on friday, the people who develop the game we play

    Surely, ZOS took a look at their data after different complaints, and if they decided to go into unscheduled maintenance for it, they probably found a lot more than a handful of incidents.
    And aside from a quick fix for such a bug being good service - when they started it was 5 pm EDT. Asking their techs to stay an hour or two longer on a Friday is probably easier/cheaper than drumming up the people you need somewhere around midnight on the weekend...

    At least over here in Germany maintenance started at 11pm, so while I would've played an hour more or so, it helps me do the reasonable thing and get some (relatively) early sleep after a week that had far too little of it, anyway. ;)

    If they had not put the servers into maintenance no one on the EU server would be playing right now. Players have to remember that ZOS, the game and mess ups with the servers don't revolve around the player and their ideal play time. Stuff happens that is beyond their control so it seems so they have to put the servers into emergency maintenance to get everyone back up and running without regard to playing time schedules and this was one of those.
