I completed a Master Enchanting Writ and it didn't trigger the Endeavor, had to do a second one with an Alchemy Writ and then it triggered.

Glyphs aren't consumables. Consumables are items that the player consumes, such as food and drinks and potions, so only Alchemy and Provisioning writs are considered Consumable.

And, that's not right. It is wrong, and just like the other crap that they've pulled in other endeavors where certain enemies don't count for certain clarifications when they clearly meet the criteria. Such as when you have to kill a certain number of "reptiles" but lizards don't count and frogs do when frogs are amphibians. Or, it tells you to kill "chitonous foes" but some enemies that you can get chiton from don't count.

This arbitrary coding of what should or shouldn't count should not be.

It makes sense that a consumable is something the player consumes. They don't consume glyphs.

Enchants are consumables only in the sense that a player can recharge an Enchant by applying a new one. A very expensive way to go about doing that.

If you are not able to swallow the results, it is not a Consumable.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Note also that Poisons do not count, only Potions, so not all Alchemy Master Writs will satisfy this particular endeavor.

Khajiit has been told that you can swallow pretty much anything once. But surely that is not what you meant, yes? :)

Agreed, the endeavours are sometimes inconsistent and poorly worded.

Also, durable writ endeavors specifically say Enchantment writs

I looked when I was in game this morning and Enchanting is listed on the Consumables writ board. So it either is a consumable writ or it's not and there is conflicting information in game between how the writ board classifies these and how Endeavors does.

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_Kevin will you please look into this?
