More character slots, we need MOAR SLOTS don't we?

Am I the only one who is unsatisfied with only TWO (2) slots more from Necrom?

Without a class change token, I am now short on character management ;/

20 at this point is enough for me, but perhaps not for others. Then again I have 20 available on each of 3 accounts on both PC megaservers so....

I don't mind them not being totally shared. None of my characters are the same - so having different collections is fine with me.

There's people out there like Grim who have deleted and leveled over 200 characters to 50 just to showcase thematic build ideas for PVP, so I see the value in more/unlimited character slots, but I am more in favor of class change as an option since we already have race change and alliance change in game, and the replayability factor it brings to the single character you choose.

i had stopped at 10 characters because of the absurd amount of work it is to get a new character up and running lol

it isnt just simply "apply new gear" its:

• unlock and level appropriate skill lines
• hunt sources of skill points
• mount training (ugh, i still dont bother with this cause its so awful)
• bag upgrades
• re-configuring non-acct wide addons
• re-unlock all companions (hate this part the most)
• re-explore all the wayshrines
• re-configuring game settings and keybinds (cause these have to be different per toon too)

i know some or all of those things some people dont mind

unlocking and leveling skill lines, and aquiring skill points dont bother me quite as much, and are something that im fine with on a new character, but other stuff such as re-unlocking companions and mount training are just awful with the way the game is set up currently

out of my 10 current characters, only 1 of them has maxed out mount training, none of the other toons mounts are even more than halfway maxed (some literally have 0 upgrades still), and since blackwood ive complained about the companion unlocks already being acct wide in the collection menu but still having an extra requirement to do them per toon (not to mention the newer companions quests getting much much longer)

This morning I was a dragonknight, this evening I was a necromancer. Both low level. It doesn't matter what level or CP as long as you enjoy yourself. But the possibilities are endless.

I would do all 7 classes with 1 of each race, so 70 would work for me. I'm sitting at 58 active characters on WoW so it isn't a total stretch out of the ordinary for me. Why isn't it 60 max, in case they add more class options for dragon people.

I am perfectly content with the number we have now.

However if you compare ESO to another large MMO like World of Warcraft, they have 60 character slots.
It depends a lot on what we want to do.

If someone for whatever reason wants to make a Dragonknight of every available race, that is already 10 character slots.

I wouldn't mind an increase, though I wouldn't say it's absolutely necessary.

I have so many ideas for characters, I keep them in a spreadsheet. I still haven't decided which ones I'm making with the new slots though. It's a tough choice, and I wasn't expecting the Arcanist class, so now I have to decide which character ideas would work best with that class as well.

Same, 1 race per every class would be perfect for me as well!
I don't really need more fully playable characters nowadays, especially after creating two Arcanists. But I can always use more mules, and I like to spend time at the outfit station I have 5 mules, and they all are different races/classes/looks. Even though they only do crafting writs, I like to observe their appearance.

As minimum, I would need at least 6 more slots, because I still don't have male Altmer/Imperial and female Orc/Nord/Dunmer/Bosmer in my gang.

I'd rather just have 7, and a much better and more accessible armory system that isn't so brutally monetized.

Same, although it's still to early for us to really know what plans ZOS may have. For all we know they might be planning to add that 21st slot via one of the community events they seem to run at least once a year. You know the ones I mean, where all players have to work together to achieve specific goals that then unlock various tiers of rewards for everyone.

I expect Zenimax will revenue such ideas after they compete the server code rework and see a notable improvement to server performance. Until then they will continue to be conservative with added to the game.

Er.... "revenue" such ideas? Maybe "revisit" after they complete the server code rework? If they do....
